  1. So the question now is when will be the big ground breaking for it?
  2. I'm glad they will start to build it.
  3. Yea, trust me, I know. I have a few Ozen friends and they get mad when they lose. They have not forgot about 'That Game' at Lamar stadium a few years back. ;D
  4. Non-District is Central vs. Ball because there was a baaad blood when we last played them. They don't like us, we don't like them! ;D District is PN-G because we play in a spanking brand new facility. First round playoffs game Central vs. Dayton. Have to get our payback from the past 2 years! ;D
  5. They was in LaMarque's district last year or the year before and Beat them and Texas city to win district that year, I believe. They have just moved up to 5a.
  6. Looking good! Looking good!
  7. Just messing with ya! I'm bored at work, so I figured I would try to stir the pot ;D ;D I know you are! ;D Just remember that you and your people (Mount Belvieu) are the reason I am hear in the first place.
  8. I'm sure the people that have not received their diplomas have common sense if not book sense. I'm sure that the few people that don't have a computer do have an encyclopedia set or a local library to gather information.
  9. Perk has made me proud. Kid have came a long way and now is sitting on top of the world. Congrads from Beaumont.
  10. I am not trying to discourage anyone from this website. Heck, BH fans are the reason that I joined this site. I look forward to Livingston and North Shore fans to start registering. This thread was made just to get opinions just as Hotrodg have stated. Carry on...
  11. Congrads to the 2008 Word Champion Celtics. Big Baby at center? Heck no. Perk is taller and longer than big baby and plays better defense.
  12. IMO, The Trinity River separates it from the Greater Houston area out to the West. Up north, everything north of Jasper and Newton county is not southeast texas. Should be considered as East Texas. Of course, The Sabine river separates it on the eastern side. I think you can go ahead and throw the Bolivar Peninsula in as part of SETX also.
  13. Didn't you say BH was part of Southeast Texas? I think that is Chambers county, which you didn't list above.
  14. Maaan, 82. We get no respect being way at the bottom like that! lol. Just remember this post after week 1. ;D
  15. The Golden Triangle is an area of extreme Southeast Texas near the Louisiana border. The "triangle" is formed by Beaumont, Port Arthur, and Orange, which are the largest cities in the area. The "golden" refers to the wealth that came from the Spindletop oil strike near Beaumont in 1901. In an attempt to distance the area from the petrochemical industry, some area interests attempted to rename the Golden Triangle the "Triplex." This name change did not catch on, and area residents still refer to it as the Golden Triangle. Some residents of the Golden Triangle do not refer to the Greater Houston area as being part of Southeast Texas and place the western boundary of the region roughly at the Trinity River. The area holds the annual South Texas State Fair in Beaumont. If I'm not mistaken, Dayton and BH is on the Western side of the Trinity. It's good to see that I'm not the only one that may have been baffled by this.
  16. You're right. I did forget about Newton. What you really consider Dayton a part of SETX? I would consider them part of the houston area, just like BH. I would put Newton between WO-S and Jasper. I would leave Memorial.
  17. 1. WB 2. WO-S 3. Jasper 4. Kirbyville 5. Nederland 6. Central 7. PN-G 8. Kelly 9. Ozen 10. Memorial This one is hard because I threw all of the classifications in there.
  18. KG missed those two free throws late in the 4th. Also, Rondo messed it up with that silly foul on Fisher that gave the Lakers momentum and by the silly turnover when he didn't have anywhere to go and passed it to Radmonovic.
  19. Wish my Jags was in the old 22-5a back in the mid 1900's. That district had Both the Baytown school, North Shore, and Deer Park in it.
  20. Real football is played on grass, IMO. The Rez will be setting new trends in this area though.
  21. This is a great article! Didn't know Mr. Saveat puts all those long hours in the job like that. Also glad they are still working on that location for the new stadium.
