  1. Last year, no pass defense. Next year, no run defense. Yep, those 'weaklings' in red, white, and blue will get torched by Memorial's running game! ;D
  2. Ok, Coach. Let's not let our mouth overload our you know what. You know who we play friday and you know that we stand a very little possibility of being 5-0 in district. Unless you know something that we don't. Please, feel free to prove me wrong.
  3. Now I cant talk about the 5a playoffs being watered down. Now 4a just got softer. :'( :'(
  4. He'll run wild on those creampuffs from the West End! ;D
  5. Yea, man, Bosh was a man that night. Dabney did have a bad game though. But that overall Dallas Lincoln team was darn good too!
  6. Don't celebrate too long in middle court. Remember what happened to Perk! ;D ;D ;)
  7. DV, all that your telling me is irrelivant. A blowout is a blowout. Yall lost by 20. I don't care if yall gave up 30 points in 20 seconds. 'It is what it is'. But don't think because we're having this conversation that I dont' repect the Ozen Hoops program. Like I said before, they are the cream of the crop till somone else steps up, 'Big School' wise.
  8. There is always hope, DV. And luck, and a prayer. We're gonna need all of that. ;D ;D ;D ;D
  9. So when Ozen got 'blasted' by Dallas lincoln by 20+ and Ozen had Perk on the floor, do you call 'that' a lucky run?
  10. :D :D...after seeing our play against the Indians, it apears that we are in a world of trouble. Ozen has hoopers all over the court. But I have to throw the rivalry thing in there. Ozen's kids may play nervous and Central's players may step up in a big way. It can happen. I believe if we are to beat Ozen, Friday will be the day since this game is at Central.
  11. Lol...T hat's funny. I wonder do you realy believe what you say sometimes.
  12. Intimidation. I just hope they don't get too caught up. Or this will be over really quick. But Central also played a tough non-district and should have seen good teams already. This may come down to coaching, I hate to say.
  13. What can I say? This was one of the overall best Central games I've been to. First period, Indians pretty much did what they wanted on offense. The only thing that kept us in the game was the hot 3 point shooting from #10. Also, Gulley went out near the end of the first period for and injury. I didn't see it. Second period, Indian continued to feed the ball to the big man (6'9"). Third period is where it pretty much went insane. There was like 7 or 8 tie ups in the first few possessions of the 3rd. We started feeding our bigs down low which converted into easy points. On a fast break, Jefferson got the ball on a break away (keep in mind, where still down by some points) and attempted to dunk the ball. he missed it, but a Jag player stole it back and Coach called a T.O. He got a realy good earfull for that foolishness, which he deserves to. Fourth period, Gulley came back in (or was in in the third?) and he and #24 for the Indians got tangled up. The Indian player shoved Gulley and when he went to retaliate, refs started eyeballing him, which set the Central bench on fire! There also was a wierd call and, even though I'm a Jag fan, set the Indian's bench on fire. Big man for the Indian blocked Gulley's layup and they called a foul. Stevie Wonder and Ray Charles could have see that that was a clean block. Anyways, the momentum shifted when #24 got called for double dribble. He got mad and slammed the ball down and got called for a T. We mad both T's and then scored the go ahead basket. After that, it was a free throw contest. I can't blame the coaching for this one, at all. Players didnt' come to play. Game ball goes to #10 for Central for hitting all those three's in the first period to prevent PN-G from running away with this one. On another note, We'll still get clobbered by Ozen friday. Sad, but true.
  14. reporter - and your response me - Yea, I have a response......uhhhhhh.....WHAT??!! That was a disturbing comment. Why are you even worried about the tatoos, the dress codes or if they have a Goatie anyway? You also want to know what size jock straps they wear too? All that matters is that they are the cream of the crop in hoops around here and they will whip the rest of our district up. Must me a Lumberton fan mad that Ozen just put it on them. : :
  15. What about with the women that knows nothing about football ask you, ' how did that boy let him catch that ball like that?' And I say,' well, the reciever beat that boy by 10 yards and the QB had all the time in the world to throw the ball.' Then I roll my eyes.
  16. Yea, I'll be there. I think I'm going to be in 'heckler' mode! Getting warmed up for the Ozen game!
  17. Man, don't get me started with his pick of PN-G over Central and Vidor over Ozen. U might want to go the the doctor for the concusion!
  18. This is the most reasonable here. H-J will win, but in this 10 point window. 68-60 Hawks.
  19. : : : : Is that the reaction that you was looking for?
  20. I would normally say impressive, but it was against Lumberton. So I guess that was expected. Just look for that big meeting next next week! ;D ;D
  21. Coaching edge goes to Nederland. Athletes goes to Dayton. Usually, coaching wins the battle in hoops, but I think Dayton will come out fired up and take this one by 4. 51-46
  22. Yes, he is that good. If he can consistantly hit the 3 and hit FT's, he can be as good as or better than Brandon Moton was when he was at Central. I think Jamar is James' son, I think.
