If we control the boards, hustle, and don't turn the ball over a lot, we win. We lost the last game because they hustled to lose balls and grabbed key rebounds in the 4th quarter. With that being said, Ozen should be the heavy favorates in this contest.

This was one of those....'hmmmm....I don't know' games. We were realy never in sync. Our young guards turn the ball over and make boneheaded decisions for my liking. Indian realy had nothing at all for us, but how we turn the ball over and get out-rebounded like that, anybody can take us! Free throws were horrible! Please fellas, your killing me. the only thing exciting about this one was Jefferson's dunk in the 4th period. That was nice. I don't know who I can give the MVP to in this one. I guess I'll pick Gulley. When he was in, he did pretty much what he wanted to do. Gotta get a loooot better if we want to take out Ozen. Begging for a perfect game.

I was told about Livingston for football. When they played Vidor, I was told they wern't very impressive at all.

I've came a long way. I used to only follow 5a and some 4a ball. I actually dissed the small school ball (3a and down). A poster from another message board let me have it and chewed my out pretty bad, which actually expanded my horizons. I follow more 4a ball now since I back Central, but I will quickly watch a good small school matchup in a minute! These Kountze's, the EC's, and the H-J's always play some of the best ball in this area.

I knew he was wrong about Dayton. They might have beaten the Pirates in non-district. Vidor did lose to another team besides Central. I think it was PN-G when they had worthington (sp) and Duriso.

That Vidor Team was lights out from 3 point land. They were very well coached. English knows his x's and o's. The reason Vidor didn't win district is because they lost a game to one of the cellar dwellars and lost a game to my Jags. Ozen lost to vidor twice in district but whipped everybody else.

If Dayton comes out fired up like they did against us and use their athletisism to their advantage, Nederland will be upset tonight.

: : : : Get real. I hope Coach unleashes Gulley. Let's keep it real. Who does Ozen have that can handle this beast?!! I just hope the rest of the team can start playing on a high level. We're going to need this from here on out to the playoffs.

I completely agree. And I have a feeling that you won't be seeing the 'regular ' Jags untill the Ozen game. We just need a win. The Indians gave us all we wanted last time at their house.

Our fans pretty much thought we was going to handle Dayton. The only games that us Jag fans will pack the hous is Ozen or a playoff game. Basically any big game.

Maaaan! What the heck happened here? The tall 6'9" kid must have had a field day on the inside.

Congrads to Dayton. They have football athletes that can run with us. They hustled to loose balls, they made big shots, played defense on us as well as I've seen a team play us yet. #23 for Dayton was the player of the game. This guy made pressure free throws, got to the rim and finished and everything. They were quick to the ball on defense and had key steals by playing the passing lane. My Jags on the other hand.... Guard play was horrible tonight. We missed 3's, making silly passes, not handling the press corectly, and not feeding the bigs. Dayton didnt' have an answer for Gulley on the block and we went away from it. Charleston just didnt' look like he wanted the ball on the block. Officiating wasn't that great, but it went both ways. We had our chances, but we couldnt' keep Daytons athletes from getting to the rim. I got tired of seeing that darn alley-oop inbound play from Dayton. They get all the props from me. Think this lose serves us well. Hopefully, this remind the kids you can't be consistant and win these games down the stretch by playing subpar ball.

Brook have been playing to good to get blown out. It will be back and forth.

Like I said on the call in show, we need a big win vs. Dayton not just for the football season, but because Dayton beat us twice on the hardwood last year, if yall remember. Sounds about right. 15 points, but I predict a 10 point game. Feel free to prove me wrong, Jags, and run the score up!
