I bet u anything that if boy wonder played for your Hawks, he would be crowned as the best guard in SETX.  And I bet u would crown him even better than Donahoe.  Point being, can't any player around here, let alone a guard, can hold a candle to his talents.  With that being said, IMO, I would give the nod to the T. Thomas for the 2nd spot, 3 to D. Franks, and 4 to Lopez.  Gulley isn't in there because he plays more 'swing man' for my Jags.

We've already established who the best is.  The question is who is 2, 3, and 4.  That should be name of the post.

Got two words...ZONE DEFENSE.  Coach English will pick apart any man defense.  I've seen his offense ran to perfection when he was at Vidor.  If we play the way we suposed to, we hopefully will win by 15+

Congradulations!  But realy, he didnt' show me much on the field.  Better Basketball player, IMO. 

I figure that Memorial would have made this one interesting.  Makes you wonder if Boy Wonder would have made a difference?

No disrespect to the Bears, this game could have easily been won if Coach would have let them play.  We're not Ozen so we can't play that hold the ball.  Not disciplined enough for that.  At least not tonight.  Should have kept the throttle on and cruised to an easy win.  The Bean kid for LCM was ok.  He draws fouls and gets to the free throw line.  Gulley did his thing and had an average night.  But you can tell he got tired around the 4th.  He played the entire game.  Should have taken some time on the bench.  There was some questionable calls in this one, but it went both ways.  Player of the game goes to J. Gulley.  He had a few key steals that set the tempo to this one.

Memorial Beat Kingwood and they beat us twice in one day, without Boy Wonder suited up.  That's saying a lot.  Memorial will beat Brook by 8 points.  51 -43

If he comes back, he comes in for limited playing time off the bench.  It pains me to say that because this kid has special talents out on the floor. 

#33 is 6'6".  the other post player was a freshman.  He's 6'8".  Gulley missed the layups he was making in the first Half.  second half adjustments showed.  we'll be ready for yall next time!  ;) ;) ;)

Well, it's good to say that our girls are kicking some major butt!

I was at a Central game and there was a fan that heckled our coach and he was across the gym from the bench.  Coach gave that fan several dirty looks throughout the game.  So I guess it don't matter where you sit.

Sit any where you want.  If they are hecklers, just become a worse heckler when your team is winning. 

Sampere will be gone because he is a senior. But they have the young gun Kirby Bellows and his favorate target Asa Cardenas coming back. Bellows will be a Junior next year. :o

Brandon Moton....Yall should see it when he comes back to Beaumont to play for Lamar.

Around the begining of the season, they ran plays that freed him up for the midrange jumper. He canned a few of them. So he has that in his arsonal. I don't know why this wasn't ran against Ozen at all.

lol. I noticed this too. Give him a little slack, DV. He's just excited about Ozen hoops and deserves to be. I think once he becomes a 'seasoned' poster, he'll be ok. lol.

That post player is a freshman and as you can see, he had no effect on the game. Yall got Joseph, Jefferson, and the other post player, and they all animals and play taller than what they are. I agree with you. Gulley do need to work on that 3 point shot, but to say that he isnt' dominant is ludacrous. He caused yall fits all night. That Jefferson kid yall got was the difference maker in the 4th and is the reason yall won. If we can get our 'Jefferson' to play like that, we'll be way better!

Believe it or not, this kid would make a great DB. He has quick reactions and is lightening quick. And if he is picking off passes in hoops, just imagine would he would do on the field? I believe he is like 5'8" to 5'10". Something like that.
