  1. Got a friend from Nederland that post on here and I've been posting with him since 2004. I know from experience he is a wise poster and knows his stuff, but at one point, he was at -100 karma. He told me that Vidor posters smited him. Very crazy.
  2. Not all Lumberton posters should be smited. I've talked to a few of them and gave karma to them because they make valiad points and pretty much know what their talking about. Noticed I said few.
  3. This kid was an awesome talent in Nederland. Hope he keeps turning heads out there with the big boys. Continue to make us proud, kid!
  4. Bulldogs chomp Panthers. Jags run past Pirates Indians Jilts Raiders - Beaumont 'Suprise (notice the order of these articles, go figure)
  5. That would be neat, but that just takes away fromthe game, as tvc said. Do the old traditional way. Look to the sidelines as your running or just know how many yards you need to get.
  6. I think he did that on last week's predictions. He's just so excited about Beaumont's teams, he dont' know what to call them! ;D ;D
  7. Well, the thing these days is for the kids to do the 'Reggie Bush' in the corner of the endzone. Wouldn't it be something to see one of our locals do the 'Lambaugh Leap'? Although, Coaches would be bussing a blood vessel! lol.
  8. I want to know why there are people out there they dont' think they are good. You dont' win ball games in this district by luck, I'm sorry.
  9. I don't think I've seen a 'veer offense'. Do any team in team in this district run it?
  10. Hahaha. Stiring the pot, I see! I would like to see my Jags put together a complete game against Vidor and start looking like they want a playoff spot. Players and Coaches.
  11. Whatever you do, Indian fans, make the tackle. Dont' allow him to wiggle away, or stumble for extra yardage or drag your players. If you defense can make good tackles, your be ok.
  12. Seems like a lot of Biasism going on here. We realy need to start looking at things like this from a game standpoint. Indians by 7. PN-G have the Hogs that can battle Lumberton's O-line.
  13. I know Nederlands Passing game is great, not taking nothing away from that. But They will need to find a better running game before playoffs if they want to make a deep run. You can't go one demintional against realy good teams.
  14. hey root for my Jags. I came out to check out your 'Dogs for our by-week in Bridge City. ;D ;D
  15. **Big School Game of the Week** Lumberton at Port Neches-Groves (Another deep gut feeling) **Small School Game of the Week** Jasper at Hamshire-Fannett ________________________________________________________________________________________ 21-5A Baytown Sterling at Beaumont West Brook Port Arthur Memorial at Baytown Lee (With out that RB, Lee will go down early) 21-4A Houston Smiley at Barbers Hill Huffman at Houston Forest Brook 22-4A Nederland at Beaumont Ozen (Ned rebounds after the big loss and wins by 10 pts) Vidor at Beaumont Central (My Jags win by 3 points, yes, that's what I said) Dayton at Little Cypress-Mauriceville 21-3A Silsbee at West Orange-StarkOrangefield at Bridge City Kirbyville at Hardin-Jefferson 22-3A Cleveland at Liberty Coldspring at Shepherd Splendora at Tarkington 23-2A Newton at Shelbyville San Augustine at Woodville 24-2A Hardin at Buna East Chambers at Anahuac Deweyville at Warren 24-1A Evadale at Hull-Daisetta Sabine Pass at West Hardin TAPPS 3-4 Legacy Christian at Baytown Christian
  16. I would have to say Michaels because of the combination of speed and power and stiffer competition. Williams is kind of small. Hussey has the best vision and won't go down easily. And has a mean O-line.
  17. Haha, trust my opinion. I've seen all three. And I cant be biased, because they beat my team.
  18. You know, I dont' always agree with the college recruter thing. They Don't always pick the best guy. HS rb and College rb's are two different things. They will probably pick the RB that fits their program. All and all, Hussey and Michaels are putting up some good numbers and if they both finish over 1000 yards rushing, they should both be looked at on the next level.
  19. Ironic, the holding calls were in the Lumberton and Nederland games. But I'm not realy worried about it, because it wouldn't have impacted the play. They were on the oposite side of the play. Now, the refs are actually ok because in the Nederland game, there were a lot of plays were the Ned recievers and our CBs were both going for the ball, and there was a lot of contact, you know, ned reciever pushing off and our corner touching and fending him off. Non of those plays drew a flag, which I agree. Good no call.
  20. Naw, they had a chance a few years ago when they had the Eckert kid and I believe they went 7-3 and 1 win from making the playoffs. That was a good team too.
