Is Chritstian the best RB in the area?
BMTSoulja1 replied to westend1's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I would have to say Michaels because of the combination of speed and power and stiffer competition. Williams is kind of small. Hussey has the best vision and won't go down easily. And has a mean O-line. -

Haha, trust my opinion. I've seen all three. And I cant be biased, because they beat my team. -

You know, I dont' always agree with the college recruter thing. They Don't always pick the best guy. HS rb and College rb's are two different things. They will probably pick the RB that fits their program. All and all, Hussey and Michaels are putting up some good numbers and if they both finish over 1000 yards rushing, they should both be looked at on the next level. -
Officials? How Have They Been This Year?
BMTSoulja1 replied to a topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Ironic, the holding calls were in the Lumberton and Nederland games. But I'm not realy worried about it, because it wouldn't have impacted the play. They were on the oposite side of the play. Now, the refs are actually ok because in the Nederland game, there were a lot of plays were the Ned recievers and our CBs were both going for the ball, and there was a lot of contact, you know, ned reciever pushing off and our corner touching and fending him off. Non of those plays drew a flag, which I agree. Good no call. -
Lumberton 35 Central 14 Final/Comments

Naw, they had a chance a few years ago when they had the Eckert kid and I believe they went 7-3 and 1 win from making the playoffs. That was a good team too. -

Mosley was a little better. He could take it to the house. The Hussy kid is strickly between the tackles with good vision with Mosely's strenth, but not speed. -

I would have loved to not see our QB get that personal foul for spiking the ball in frustration after that 4th down sack. Set the example for the young players that will represent us. I don't think he'll lose his cool again. -

Average. A few missed holding calls, but that's ok. -
Good stuff, my friend!

These athletes come a dime a dozen here in Beaumont. Brook has a few more of them this year, but Ozen and Central get's these types of athletes also. I just love the way that Stump can coach these guys. They will make us proud in this years playoffs, no doubt.

No disrespect, but C. Michaels is on a totaly different level then Hussey. He faces the likes of good 5a competition like Westfield. Him and his tag team monster partner A. Williams are unrivaled. -
I know exacly where he's coming from. I've been looking at some mess that has been going on all season. But just think about the kids. They need ALL fans to stand behind them. It means a lot to them. Trust me.

West Brook vs. Bayown Sterling Predictions
BMTSoulja1 replied to a topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Yea, realistically, but you guys dropped it to channelview, I believe and you were clearly a lock for the outright district championship last year. I shouldn't compare last years team and this years team because overall, this team surpasses them. -
Hats off to coach Burnett for making a" change"
BMTSoulja1 replied to a topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I dont' know why yall was doubting Burnett's coaching. In MC, there lies arguably the best coaching in the triangle. Burnett always rises for big games. -
