Well, not really identical, but really close. The cutoff was really close to both BU and WB.... and there was probably a difference of about 100 or less kids between WB and BU back then. With that being said, I think the Cutoff will go up which probably will mean WB will drop to 5a D1 and BU will remain the same. That's my guess on it. Meaning, WB, BU, and PA will probably be in the same district.

I can’t wait to see both teams in person. Hearing big strides from both programs. I especially want to see if United is ready to step up to the challenge. No turnovers and consistent defense is what I’m looking for. I hope special teams don’t play a factor.

Surgical masks are the second best thing behind the Kn95/n95. I’d trust them over that BS cloth crap and those bandanas and those ‘gators’ they wear around the neck…

No, they are not. But if I student needs a mask, the financial clerk or the CIS campus coordinator has some…. Not n95’s but some surgical masks…

I believe there are several members with this same logo. So retiring it wouldn’t IMO make much sense. I think we should just put WOSGrad Somewhere on the main page under SETXSports.com.

We’ll find out a whole lot about both of these teams as both of them face United in consecutive weeks, games I plan on watching. Get back with me in two weeks and I’ll tell it. BTW, I’ve been told that WB will be very good this year and PN-G is not good, have the wrong QB starting, and has very little team speed. But this may be a biased opinion since this was told that me from a WB guy, someone who’s seen both teams up close recently…

I read and reread his post and find nothing wrong with it. Even if it were reversed and if you posted it, opposite to my stance. I still see it as non insulting to other districts…

Great move by Dr. Porterie and PAISD. The safety of the children and employees are of highest importance and priority. I think all other districts will follow suit.

That’s false. The BISD Stadium ( back then, the Thomas Educational Center) was vandalized the same way, with the gates getting ran through and the trucks ‘burning rubber’ .

I saw the Channelview scrimmage and although I was impressed with BU’s defense, I just didn’t like the inconsistency on the offensive end. I think the first teams only scored once. Maybe the O can prove me wrong and show up next week…
