I'm not gonna lie...That is some good stuff you have there. But please dont' bring up that Ozen crap. West Brook is West Brook and Central is Central. from '99 to '03 was still a butt whipping. Easy butt whippings. I do give Brook respect for the little run in the 90's. BTW, that other guy was right. Brook did get beat 10-0. Leeland was a sophmore.

Central 9-1, Loss to either Dayton or WB. Ozen 6-4, 5-3, Loss to either WB or Memorial and in district, they will lose to Dayton, Central, and one of the MC teams. WB 7-3, 6-2, Loss to Westfield and in district, loss to Memorial and Channelview. (yes, channelview)

They should have known something when the whistle didnt' blow. But at the same time, you learn from your mistakes. I bet they won't be fooled like that on friday nights when they get older.

What do yall think about John Gruden then? Bobby Knight? Gruden has won a super bowl and Bobby Knight is one of the greatest college coaches ever.

The best ones curse....It's part of their firey personality. Do you think that Bobby Knight would get the same results out of his kids if he didn't do it? Same thing in football. Come on, people. I am all for a coach giving a player or the team a major earful when they do stupid stuff onthe field. So if the players have to be cursed out or they have to hear cursed words, I'm for it. It's football and I believe that comes with the territory.

I picked hot and humid because there is nothing like that first game of the year, which is all I'm thinking about now. Hot and humid afternoon. Test the players' stamina.

Well said! Stowers point across the field to the other sidelines. The ref don't want to turn around and look. Kinda like a wrestling ref. They never see what goes on behind them and then never want to turn around and look. Wow.

Yea, it was Jordy Matherson. We didnt' throw the whole game, but he let the scoring drive with 3 big pass plays for the go ahead score. It was sweet because they was stoping our run and the game was boring. and half our fans left. They came running back in before the winning TD pass.

I dont' think that any team is over rated. Everybody knows where each team stands. And I'm sure that when district rolls around, that none of the top ranked teams will never take the other teams lightly.

Donahoe is a beast, dont' get me wrong. But Brown would be way too much for him.

That Kountze squad was loaded. Not disrespecting H-J in any way, but they would have been in over their heads. Hall and Coffey would have been too much. and you had the seniors from last year onthat squad as youngsters. Wow! Kountze by 40+!

Central/pflugerville conaly in 2003. That was a nailbiter. We scored that TD with time winding down, the Jag fans almost stormed the field.
