They tried to run the score up by leaving their starters in. They coldnt' score no more and we kept pouring it on. BTW, that Sterling team made the playoffs and went 2 rounds deep. Back to the point of the thread...The best week 0 matchups will be either WB vs Ozen or the Reliant games.

All I got to say is we got outhustled at the end of the game. And if you get outhustled in a game 7, the hungrier team won and my rockets deserved to go fishin. Yao better hit the gym this summer, I tell you that! Guys pushing him around and migits blocking his shot. All this started after he came back from that knee surgery. He looked real good before.

The spurs will prevail because they actually play defense as a team. Suns will have non of that and 1 mix tape type of game, I assure you.

We'll beat the Warriors. Dallas didnt' have a post presence. We have people to put on the block, namely Yao. Keep the faith inthe rockets. It will be a good game friday, but the Rockets will rip the Jazz up in Houston.

I'm not a fan of the spread. I'm a traditional I-formation or single back formation type man. Yea, go to the spread on third down or every once in a while to show a different look, but not the whole game.

The Mavs had a little bit more fire and flair in this game, but it wasnt' enought. The Warriors have some athletes and have great leadershit with Jackson and Davis. Warriors got Diop in foul trouble then it was easy pickings in the paint, not to mention big shots from 3 pt. land.

There is no doubt that the purpose of this thread was to throw a shot at lumberton, since they have never made a playoff appearance. I hope they make the playoffs and make a good run.

Houston Sterling made it to the second round of the playoffs and lost to Brenham. Their defense wasnt' realy that good, but that passing offense.... :o :o

I'm stuck in the middle here. A part of me hopes that Iverson and Carl win a championship. The other part of me wants to be a homer and take the spurs. I guess i'm leaning more toward the Nuggets. Dosn't realy matter though, either one will get crushed by my rockets. ;D ;D ;D

Yao will be consistant, because he will score at will. I would just like when he recieves the entry pass in the post, he would keep the ball high, or just face up and shoot it over the top. And all that fouling Yao and knocking him down will do nothing but put him onthe line, where he is the best free throw shooting big man inthe league. Pick your poison, Jazz.

I agree. 'Pop' is a hell of a coach, and will make game 2 adjustments. This will be a chest match becuase George Carl will have his boys ready.

The Nuggets have a good mixture of defense (Camby, the leading shot blocker and Iverson, always inthe top 10 in steals) and offense (Iverson and Mello, the leagues leading scorer before the suspension). Spurs will need more from duncan than 15 points. Either Iverson or Mello have to be contained!!
