  1. So if NS has a lot of Hispanic people and GP has a lot of Hispanic people, how do these elite black athletes end up at MS and NON of them end up at GP? Non for at least the last 15 years. Make this make sense to me is all I ask.
  2. Haven’t been to a game yet, but seen several online. Do that count?
  3. Good point. At least the last 2 years...
  4. Shut up! 🤣🤣😂😂
  5. I was there the whole time waiting on the game to be played. There was lightening. Matter of fact, several bolts of lightening. I don’t think they initially called the game because they thought it would pass over.
  6. It’s really strange and funny that the most athletic kids out there have been going north of I-10 for the better part of 15 years. The NS and GP zoning areas are not that far from each other.
  7. Solid wo. For Tigers. Defense played very well! Arline is a load and the Dilsbee WR’s are coming along. Game ball goes to Hatton. Kid balled out. With Gilder back, Foster will need to work with him and the other WR more on these pass plays. Got a few more games to get this together before playoffs. and for H-F, the backup QB looked better than the Freshman kid that started. Might want to go with tjay kid. The Fish has plenty time to get better and do good in the near future.
  8. I’ve expressed my displeasure of how the WB/United thing went. But jag86, if you missed it, my opinion is the reason given as far as acclimation period was pure BS as all teams in Texas had that very same issue. Also, there’s plenty of new coaches in 2020. No excuses. Play the scheduled game, take your lumps and move forward. No reason to short change the kids a game to an already possible abbreviated season. Really anticipated since 1 non district game was dropped for the sake of an extra bye week for the district committee. Ohh well...that was then. Now is now. We’re 3-0 In district and are trying to get the district championship, something attainable.
  9. What about the middle school or schools that feed into Galena Park High School? How are they?
  10. Ok, gotcha. Lol.
  11. That’s ok. I have time today. I’ll just go watch it and see for myself... 🤷🏾‍♂️
  12. Well, where are those stats? I’m eager to see...
  13. Good points, but I don’t think it’ll be 30-0. This will be a win for BU bu 2 scores. I’m thinking like 21-31...
  14. That offense worked like a charm I remembered. One year you had a HUGE and mean oline that made it work in 2009. I remember it worked when you had a special athlete running it in Quirante. You have to have one or the other to run it successfully. Vidor haven’t had one or a combination of both in a while. I say just run a conventional offense until those two components show themselves at the high school...
  15. I seen this angle. Looks to me if the Nederland player didn’t push off on the PNG receiver, kid would’ve at least put a hand on the football.
  16. Swing out clubs open on Wednesday and Friday nights. So you won’t have to worry about our coaches boing in there. 😂😂😂😂
  17. Apparently, div. I 9-5A will have 2 games on Thursday and 2 on that Friday...
  18. So now its confirmed. Thursday 11/5/2020 is the correct date..
  19. I have a schedule that BU put out. But I cannot add it to this post.
  20. Yea, I was wrong. Kid was straight up balling on that huge stage.
  21. Let’s get this thing started.
  22. Galena Park Football have not been relevant going on 20 years. I used to always wonder how North Shore and Galena Park share a district but all of the top tier talent in the greater Houston area ends up going to school north of I-10. It’s like they pour no resources to GP... you figure it’ll start with a top notch coach that kids would want to play for...
  23. How did that happen and Nederland was only able to muster 21 pts?
