Add United to this conversation. We return probably the beat returning player in the area, 6'5" Arceneaux as a Junior and the two freshmen in our team that year gets lot of playing time. Ome has been starting. They'll be sophomores next year (6'5" Porchia and 6'4" Yates).

It's funny. I was always under the impression that if you have a tie for 1st, no matter what happens, it CO-district champs and the play in game is ONLY for seeding and first round playoff opponent. However, I have gotten word from someone who's talked to both Coach Brown and Coach Campbell that this is indeed for the outright district championship. So now, I'm a bit confused now. I guess until otherwise stated, for now, this is a seeding ONLY game.

I didn't make a prediction on how the district would finish. Just said what I knew so far about the teams...🤷🏾‍♂️

1st round of playoffs: Beat NS in the breaker game plays Humble. Lose to NS, plays Dobie @ Barbers Hill High School Tuesday, 2/18/2019 7:30 pm.

United lead the last district in rushing yards and had the #1 rusher in the district. They lose the whole backfield. We'll need to replace the 4 guys. We also lose the district defensive player of the year. But I see we have some nice pieces coming back on defense. Our younger players will need to grow quickly in offense. I don't think LaPorte was a bad team last year. They ran a power tun offense with thr big RB with the dread locks. I think he returns. Their only issue is they had no athletes on defense. Friendswood typically has a solid football program, although I don't have much information on them. PA Memorial was very inexperienced last year. I think they return the QB and the nice RB #21. Don't know what they return on defense. I think Ball finishes last as all of those typical Galveston athletes, just like the LaMarque area ends up at Dickinson... Now the Baytown schools will be interesting. GCM should be the cream of the crop here, but Sterling had a few athletes that I seen on the field. Not sure if any of them returns... Lee I believe lost their #1 gun, I expect them to finish second to last behind Ball.

From what I'm told, there will be a seeding game between these two Friday not sure of the time or location yet...

Former Shewolf Ashlei Kirvin is a true freshman at Wichita State and appears to have played in every game this year thus far excluding the last 2 games averaging 3.8 ppg. Wasn't getting a lot of minutes early in the season, but the last two games she played, she averaged 19 minutes per game and got a season high against U of H of 12 points off the bench. She's had multiple games with 9 rebounds...
