There was a projection with Lufkin, but I know there are some Tyler schools up that way that can form their own district. My projections above would have 7 team district , 6 district games and 4 nondistrict games. Maybe add 1 or both of the New Caney schools. I personally would love just a 7 team district..

I think UIL does something crazy and slides Cleveland in the district with Laporte, the Baytown schools, and the Golden triangle schools... just a hunch...

The team they were going to play they already beat by 20. The way the brackets were 'arranged' , they was slated to play them, Marian, again this time for the championship, but they declined to play. I assume it was a forfeit...

Last year, made every game. This year, Made one game, but listened to all broadcasts, including the live feed Friday, and d5i6dnt miss a beat. Very special group and enjoyed the ride. Something about hearing these kids tell you how much they appreciate you for supporting them. I only know 2 kids coming back next year, but I can't wait to follow them and the team next year...

I've just heard that United was to play a rematch with Marion for the championship, but opted not to play United. So the word I'm getting is United won the championship without a championship game. 🤷🏾‍♂️🤦🏾‍♂️

I gotcha. I just seen that the first game, prior to the big adjustments by Coach Coleman, it appeared that SC was on the verge of getting ran out of the gym.

That was a wash since United beat them as well. SC don't have anything imposing on the court, but heir coaching is superb though. Dickinson has I believe fell off the map as far as top 10. They are just trying to find their footing. I have not seen Atascocita play, but I know Morton Ranch is for real. Known a grew great deal about that team. Their star player has Beaumont ties. Central Jaguar ties to be exact...

I've been repeating this all year. There is NO reason this team shouldn't come out of the region. We'll learn a lot about this team during the Allen tournament...
