  1. That fumble on the kickoff shouldn't have been a fumble. #11 for Silsbee ran, and slid (like a QB does), then guys tackled him, then the ball came out. He should've been considered down once his knees hit the ground.
  2. Couple of scores from yesterday... Gold Bracket Clear Brook - 38 Fort Bend Bush - 53 Silver Bracket Galveston Ball - 52 Lake Creek - 68 Bronze Fort Bend Kempner - 86 Houston Madison - 93
  3. Yea, didn't look good for Roundtree... And that freshman balled out last week too. You can't beat playoff experience...
  4. And BOOM goes the dynamite...
  5. I was there too and took it all in. Like you said, we seen two great evenly matched teams. I also seen hella plays and coaching late from the kids in white. I guess it's different viewpoints. I respect your views though..
  6. It was not raining tonight ❗ - A Silsbee Parent after the win
  7. There was a kicker from Dayton a few years ago with a foot like a mule that kicked those routinely. Haven't seen anyone with a foot like that... until now...
  8. ...I called a Silsbee win by a score. Matter if fact, on social media, I called it by 7. You see, it was big plays by kids and also gutsy playcalling by coaches late in that game. I'm not buying that football gods stuff here...
  9. It was WO-S's defense. If the locking is right, that play is a thing of beauty... I have no problem with it. I wish United would go to that type of offense...
  10. I attended this game and on paper, WO-S had all the pieces to cause Silsbee all kinds of trouble. Gales is a man. #4 and #7 are speed demons. The QB wasn't bad. Late in this game, I don't know if you wan to say Silsbee played lights out or WO-S regressed, but it looked like a little of both. Almost to the point where WO-S played too conservative when up late by 2 scores. You have to keep the foot on the gas and put a team away. 2 wide open dropped passes hurt, but Silsbee had their problems, especially the Thrown INT and the fumble on the kickoff. The Moment the Silsbee kid kicked that 48 yard FG, the whole momentum changed, and something shouldn't been done about it ,but it wasn't. Hell of a Game, Stangs. Lots of good looking kids and I know a lot of them will be back. Silsbee, live it up this weekend, but Mondy, it's all business again. The goal is the Title and we can't let What Cuero do what they did last year. Couple of things I Noticed though: 1. WO-S fans were leaving mid 4th quarter. What's up with that? 2. There was tons of fans there, but still ample amount of room on the top levels of both sides. 3. Coach Smith outcoached Coach T in the 4th quarter. 4. Silsbee's three headed monster didn't disappoint. 5. Thanks, @RaiderGirl2010 for the great seats. 6. Why did WO-S go away from the short comeback routs? Silsbee was playing 15 yards off. 7. The fake punt was a thing of beauty. 8. Shout out to the WO-S and Silsbee players for keeping their cool after the spell there where the officials was letting the game get out of control. There was 2 personal fouls, but couldn't gotten ugly. 9. I hope all the players that went down tonight are doing fine. One of those injuries didn't look good. 10. "Congrats, young man." "Yes sir, Thank you, but we're not done yet!" - Dralyn Taylor
  11. I must say. I did pick Silsbee by a score and lookie here... 🤷🏾‍♂️
  12. I know he is capable of it. I want to witness it. I was fortunate enough to see Adams pour in 60+ points last year. Worth the price of admission when a player catches fire like that...
  13. I can't wait to see Lil Bray do his thing against United live and in person.
  14. You really wanna call someone a clown for having an opinion? BTW, You really shouldn't be calling 'those guys' childish names like that on social media. Not a good look.
  15. I thought you were calling it a night.... 'dude'
  16. I've given my list months ago. I do believe Braybhas jumped a few of the ones I picked earlier.. Lofton and Harrison for sure...
  17. True, but if any other top tier players were in this position, they'd put up high numbers too because like I said, he almost have to just for the team to compete. Probably not 50 and 60 points, but I'm sure if you put Lofton, Harrison or guys like that on this Silsbee team, their offense output would increase exponentially. 🤷🏾‍♂️
  18. I can say, back in my day, I could play a little, not that ita relevant... but mind you, since I'm hating, I'll be getting ready to go root the smoke town boys to victory in about 2 hours.
  19. I think you're reading me wrong. If you loom at previous posts, even last year, I said that the previous 3 teams from Silsbee was dictated on how well Bray plays. This year, I also stated that this kid has it all and is very good and the only thing that's a negative is his height. Nothing but good things to say. I even always give encouraging words when I see him. And I see him a lot more than the casual fan. Just because I dont think he's the best I SETX dont mean I'm hating. BTW, at this point, he's better than everyone except maybe 2 or 3 kids in SETX...
  20. I wouldn't say that.. but this kid has to do this every night for Silsbee to be competitive even with mediocre teams. He's almost forced to do this.
  21. Silver Bracket Clear Creek - 48 Flower Mound Marcus - 42 Bronze Bracket South Houston - 63 Houston Sterling - 58 OT/Final
  22. Should be playing the winner out of PA Memorial/Summer Creek for the semifinals...
