West Brook vs Strake Jesuit 2.

Do they have an athletic QB? I dont think just a good RB will hurt WB unless your name is Evans.. I doubt that the SH RB is in his talent level. -

So what do we know about SJ? Have they gotten any better since the last time? Any key pieces that was missing that will play this time? I know with WB being healthy (Holland back), West Brook will be that much harder to contain. That and the young RB's coming into their own, I see it a repeat of last time.. -

Best one so far. Lol -
🤷🏾♂️😁 I ain't did nothing..
-
I thought it was him. If not, it was a cold WR that couldn't be checked at all. Fast as a blur and made everyone miss that tried to tackle him.
-
No, it was the younger Brother Ingram at WR that was working that secondary over. Big Bro did a little. That was a long drive back from Lufkin that night... lol

Yea, that was the year after Tyler graduated, and that team was so good, they'd beat a lot of 6a teams. They got to a point where they were scoring on first plays and could've easily put up 80 on Silsbee that night, No exaggerating. I dont think I've witnessed a more dominating performance, ever .
-
Yea, that's another thing. Lots if kids they suit up. About as many as the 6a teams I've seen this year.
-
Yea, I know Lady Hawks loaded, but what about Woodville? I haven't seen this this year, but I know they were really good last year. Did they lose a lot to graduation?
-
I've seen carthage with my own eyes 2 out of the last 3 years. Let me tell you. They have athletes. But it done stop there. There is a reason their coach is making more than most 6a coaches. The coaching on both sides of the ball along with the superior athletes make is almost impossible to beat them. To put it into prospective, 3 years ago, Calvin Tyler from Silsbee ran for 300 yards on them and Silsbee still lost. That same year, Carthage went on to win state and I don't think they had another close game. With that being said, L-Train has it in them for an upset just like they did against the defending state champs LaMarque, but that Lumberton team had a great defense. Not sold on this team's defense, but what perfect way to make a believer out of everyone than to show up in this home game. I've actually been invited to this game by two Lumberton AND a Carthage fan and may take them up on that..

Impressive. Didn't know she's a freshman.. -
If he continues to do stuff like this and Silsbee start to win these games I'm sold. If he does this when United and PA PA Memorial comes to town, I'll go out on record and say this kid will start getting some big d-1 colleges start offering.
-
Not good.. reminds me of the Spring Hill game. They absolutely need to get to this QB. But they'll have to contend with the running game though. I think Silsbee will be fine if they get a couple of stops...
-
Silsbee's second and third best players are still on the gridiron...

I think in that first half, Yates went on a run and lead by 13 going into halftime. Maybe that's why he thought it was getting ugly... -

I was under the impression that some H.I.S.D. is one of the biggest districts in the state, and cover a vast area, they got more tax dollars and lots more funding from the state, especially since most of the district is poverty stricken. I think I read this a few years back. Does the trouble with TEA have to do with the amount of money the district has? -
I mean, I knew already, but geez, 60+ is still a large feat in any game.

If they are in an economically challenged area, then maybe the school district can supply a fan bus for the parents and fans. The district can afford it. It would be if the fans amd parents want to go. All those athletes need support.
