  1. I'd love to let them get #11 in and see what that kid can do... πŸ‘πŸΏπŸ‘πŸΏπŸ˜ŽπŸ˜Ž
  2. Yes, but just to be clear, you're outlook on last years team at this point in the season mirrors this years outlook and you see hiw that turned out. Get the win and move on and keep improving. When I look at WB games, I know their weaknesses and I see if they are improving on it every game. Now that we've played them, I'm on board and hope they do well..
  3. That's good. I just want a win at this point. I'll take a 1 point win.
  4. I did a little research on Channelview. If we can sustain drives and at least stay with good field position, we'll be in a great position to win. Lord knows we need this one and we have the talent to do it. Let's see if we have staff and players serious about this week and lay it all on the line.
  5. You see the sputtering started after the bye starting in the Sterling game. But it's to the point now where players aren't making plays. Coaches cant make a player catch wide open passes or make the passer make smart decisions with the football/throw accurately during game time.
  6. Gonna be some packed and rocking home games at the Tiger Den this year. Got United, West Brook, Nederland AND Memorial at home.
  7. Rankings should not be determined on margin of victory but just victory.. one of the things that bothered me about these rankings...
  8. πŸ‘€πŸ‘€
  9. Can we get the much needed win to stay in playoff contention?
  10. North Shore, Barbers Hill, Huffman Hargrave, Physical Speed, and Newton...
  11. He's the quickest and elusive one. I've seen him catch really out if the backfield as well. I agree that he's the Best of the 3 RB's. But the other two are fully capable of shouldering that RB load (Martin and Arline). And currently, there is a big difference in talent and athleticism between Cartwright and the other WR's
  12. Or let Tylor go at wideout opposite of Cartwright... that would definitly stop teams from focusing on one player in the pass game...
  13. There were WR last year that actually got separation from defenders and beat their man. Wasn't all jump balls. I didn't miss any games last year. We knew coming into this season that we were gonna be very young at WR graduating White and Turk. You had two that could get separation. This year, 1. Maybe the JV qb could've stayed on varsity and played WR and display that athleticism at wideout opposite side of Cartwright... maybe that will be implemented when playoffs start...
  14. I can't roll with you on that... seems like before he got in the lineup and after he got in the lineup was two different offenses. Coincidence? I think not.
  15. I'm glad others share my sentiments on this..
  16. And they way I see it... last year in the district game, WO-S won by a score. This year, Silsbee lost by a score... same as last year. Last year, no one complained. This year, we are complaining and talking about a JV QB?? πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈπŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ
  17. You never answered my question above.... like 3 times you avoided the question...
  18. πŸ‘€πŸ‘€πŸ‘€
  19. You just said it. Silsbee is in the short end of the stick this year. They were at the same point this year than they were last year. Had they ran different run plays, they would've beat Cuero. I know, I was there. This year, t and ey run different run plays, they beat WO-S is what in gathering. I mean, Silsbee is a running team, so they'll live and die by running just like last year...
  20. Maybe play selection had a lot to do with it? There aren't very much creativity in the passing game anyway.
