  1. The Holy Grail of football went down to Vidor? This has got to be a misprint.
  2. Freshmen lost in 2 (9-25)(20-25) JV lost in 2 (6-25)(11-25) Varsity lost in 3 (18-25)(13-25)(12-25)
  3. 1. Yes, that's the one I was talking about. He lost lots of yards and we could've very well got back to the line of scrimmage. We can't do that next week. 2.😑😑 3.true. too bad that kid is a senior. That kid is really good. 4. I've never seen that before and it was almost as cool as the Vidor fireworks show. 5.Ok, Cooo. I was wondering who the stocky WR was. So it was Eaglin. Ok. I heard we ran like 7 RB's vs. Sterling. I like the RB by committee mentality.
  4. A win is a win is the bigger picture.. this team will make the playoffs due to the district being top heavy. At this point, I can only realistically see them losing to Porter or New Caney...
  5. This game was pretty interesting. I don't know if this was a combination of a trap game or the limited practice due to the floods last week, but.. We played about as how I expected. We were rusty on both sides of the ball. Matter of fact, the defense looked lackluster on Sterling's scoring drive. Shortly after that, whatever funk the Defense was in, they came alive and Looked like their regular selves. Offense? Not so much. Penalties galore, penalties, guys taking sacks and not throwing the ball away, ect. No matter what, we got through with No injuries and without showing too much, knowing that West Brook and Channelview Coaching staffs were there to scout us. This is like the 2nd game in the row we've left points on the field. I preached about this last week. Also, dumb penalties on offense. You seen that here as well. If we don't get this together.... Brook is the best opponent that we will have faced thus far. If our offense don't get their arses in gear, We'll get beat down next week, no exaggerating. On the Bright side, There was a first at this game. I've been going to HS football games for a long time, and I've never seen the Visitor band play and the home stadium's lights flickered on and off to the beat of the band. Pretty cool, Baytown. PS. Probably for @Alpha Wolf . I didn't see Eaglin play, but I kept seeing the Comeaux kid running the ball. What's up with Eaglin?
  6. Yea, ok...
  7. (18-25)(25-22)(16-25)(25-18)(13-15)
  8. There have been crews working non stopped since last week working on this..
  9. Yep. Either a water hose, sprinkler system, or a tropical storm. But rest assured, Bulldog stadium will be 'ready'...
  10. And PAISD has great education and I considered sending the kids there when they were in MS since at the time, my Wife worked there...
  11. Here's my take on it, and mind you, I have 2 kids at this school now and AlphaWolf does as well. I understand your question, Kronos. I'm also sure that you're not suggesting that the United kids attend classes in PA. But there are things in place for these kids to attend classes. We as parents have fail safes in place. At least I do. But I'm convinced that the new regime (new Superintendent who was the driving force as an assistant the last couple of years and the New principal) are doing all they can to get everything going. The situation was out of everyone's control so you cant really blame the district at all. 2 schools took in water and the rest didn't and the rest of our kids will start classes tomorrow. United (then Ozen) took in water and was restored after Harvey. Now, workers have been working around the clock to get kids back to class. There are buildings around the district that can take in the population of United if the worse case scenario happens. Like I alluded earlier, every parent is responsible for their child/children and should have a fail safe ready. I just don't hope it comes to that. Matter of fact, i won't talk it into existence. It won't come to that. 2,300 kids is a lot of kids and I'm sure that BISD are trying to get those kids back in the classroom and not just ___ing around.
  12. I'm assuming there was water damages to the on campus stadium?
  13. Freshman won 2-1 16-25, 25-23, 25-23 JV lost Varsity lost 3-0 23-25, 9-25, 15-25
  14. They need to.. no reason for a BISD school to have THREE Thursday games in one season.
  15. Lil Tex would've gotten on my case for missing last week but here we are for this week.
  16. I think he's Skipper... they support the same team...
  17. You know the emoji I want to put right here... 😁😁
  18. 2006, 2006, 2006...
  19. I meant 2006...jackarse...
  20. Things are falling back in place. Too bad the subvarsity games couldn't go...
  21. It's crazy. Seeing LaMarque in 2016 totally dismantling a VERY good Central in route to a state title to THIS is just unreal..
