  1. Ey, I'm just the messenger. This is what I was told from a NS guy...
  2. NS people get offended when you say that. They say all of their talent is home grown and cultivated... and their detractors are just envious....
  3. I wonder if there is another wave of special talent coming up? We all knew a long time ago about the talent coming up the ranks with Devon and crew...
  4. Wow. Interesting. Well, they did run a smashmouth style of offense when they were dominant in 2008 and 2009...
  5. Cool. The kids love him...
  6. The former WR's dad?
  7. Great. Will it be available for replay?
  8. Sobthe rankings are based off qho has the highest ceiling? Youd figure it was who's better now, who makes their team better and who shows up to the BIG game. I guess it's safe to say I look for different things than 'the experts'. They're the same ones that pick a player based off the look than weather or not they can ball on the big stage... I hope I have a chance to see all of the kids on AAW's list play this year and I hope they all ball out.
  9. Ok, like 80/20... nonetheless, just one man's opinion (for whatever its worth) thus far going by what I've seen when they wear the uniforms in packed Tuesday and Friday night gymnasiums...
  10. Isn't that based solely off of the activity 9n the recruitment scene?
  11. I'll retract my statement. Close second is either Clover or Lofton...
  12. Sure. K. Harrison right now is head and shoulders IMO better than the next best kid in this area. And Heff is NOT the second best player in this area, IMHO. I can elaborate more, but we have until mid March to confirm my suspicions for the past 3 years...
  13. Good stuff, Grad, as usual.
  14. So looks like the Tigers are only hurting at Secondary (experience wise only). I was concerned about d-like but looks like that core group is back. LB's will be fine. Notice I'm not even talking about the O. Look, the ONLY two key losses on O is Turk at WR and Lightfoot on the O-Line. But those kids that will be out there will plug those spots up just fine. I hope whatever bugs the D has can work those out early and get right back into the swing of things and pick up where they left off at. Going to be a fun season and a fun ride.
  15. Same here. I'll be following them as this year, I'm a band and cheerleader dad... and I have a vested interest in the team.
  16. That's true. He was a baller. That's for sure...
  17. Yes, Derrick Hall's Brother. He was also RB...
  18. Like they were supposed to do with that special talent. That game was weird because I believe that was his first fumble of the season in that game. Silsbee was within Carthage's 10 yard line. Score on that drive, I think silsbee takes a 2 score lead.
  19. Lowe was injured all season that year. I dont think he played at all. He was healthy in 2017, but there was nothing good for Silsbee in that Carthage game. It was a massacre right from the jump...
  20. Well, it's all good, but the problem I believe is sponsorships. $$$$.
  21. Ey, no problem disagreeing. I know Thomas was dang good and your right. I picked Locke because he's in the NFL now. I honestly forgot about Cantue... Chopper was not a shut down corner, it was just teams were scared to throw to his side because of his blazing speed. Yea, Coach D. Had some good CB's , but you have to remember, that era of football wasn't spread and they weren't real tested in the pass game. You had to be able to have decent speed and be able to lay the wood on the edges...
  22. I forgot that kid's name too...
