Why would that need to be done? The district games need to be played. I think they'll have to play it like it is. Don't think you reschedule district games unless something unforseen happens like natural disaster or something. Have a district basketball game ever been rescheduled?

I'm with @STiger85 . The basketball team is fine right now. And the football boys are doing great. I'm rooting for both as we know the basketball team will be fine. Everyone knows that. The football boys have a good chance to win a title. Don't short change them because your basketball first...

Giddings wasn't fast but they had great size and a big RB who was fast, but he could never get going because the Tiger defense was swarming. Other than that, they had no speed...But it's the teams that lack speed that's the most dangerous because they usually have good coaching and have great fundamentals...

And WO-S just played Jasper, who I'm sure has a lot of speed and they neutralized it... Point is, make the adjustment to account the speed factor... And for goodness of everything, if we get up by 2 td's, don't get comfortable. If we can put them away early, let's do it. No getting cute. Keep going with what works. WO-S is a well coached team, so I know they'll make adjustments if need be...

In all reality, this will be the fastest team that they've played since losing to the same team. Hope we adjust well, because Shepherd, Wharton, and Giddings were relatively slow with little to no speed on defense to be honest..

Now that sounds about right, and rightfully so. What better stage to settle this than a regional championship on the line?

Silsbee's biggest obstacle is size and length. You're not gonna beat them in anything else. I just dint see any players coming from the gridiron that will give extra length or size. Yea, you're gonna get some grit and toughness. I just think the group that you're seeing now will be your main guys. I know they'll put Martin in to bang down low, but he's just 6'1". And I know Cartwright, Sells, and White will get P.T., but I was looking for one more kid that makes them taller and longer...

Silsbee needs to keep the offense balanced and chill on the stupid holding away from the ball. No need to hold on the non playside. I have no gripes on the defense.. except a defended pass can be the difference between a given up TD and your offense getting the ball back... Silsbee will be fine and up to this point, the Silsbee coaching staff didn't screw this up...

This sounds like a score to expect...

And let me say this.... I have several close friends that are from Orange... I don't know if it a for personal reasons or because of his coaching skills, many don't like Coach T or the coaching staff... No matter what, I think he can coach and I know he'll have those kids from the Fruit ready to ball Friday....
