Moving on is the name of the game. Some of you WO-S fans killing me. So spoiled by years past. Get the win, move on and be happy. Team played hard and got the Dub. Now, for the rematch with Jasper....

I will say this... It got chippy late in this game. There was some chirping going on between both teams and their were a lot of unsportsmanlike conducts penalties handed out. Most of which were Wharton players doing extra after the whistle. Of course they called it both ways to offset the penalties... #88 for Wharton was out there yanking our players down and all kinds of dirty stuff and should've gotten ejected. For the most part, moving forward, we have to walk away from players like that and just point to the scoreboard. Can't risk our players getting ejected from teams like that. We're on a mission and they're going home for good. We played excellent, blocked good, tackled good, special teams played great, AND there was some pretty good coaching. Coach Smith even said himself we wanted to keep our foot on their necks. I love this thought process. I think the most important is our defense is playing lights out and I like our chances of this carting I we to Giddings... Just an overall great night.

Hell of a season, Panthers. Way to fight to the end...

I'm so glad Brook pulled it out and I'm glad Elia is back to himself from the last 2 years... And 82, I told you they'd win the second meeting. But Bro, you're too crucial on the coaching. Peevey and his staff are pretty darn good. Trust them and this is what happens. They're a lot better team now than when you seen the early in the season. This Brook team has a SERIOUS chance of making it out of the region this year. Watch and see...

No doubt...

That Nederland/Silsbee game was played on a wet and sloppy field. They turned the ball over a lot that night... But Silsbee defense did play very well that night... Very hard game to judge. Nederland has some kids that can go and plays disciplined defense. The ex factor is Nederland has probably the best coaching of any team in SETX. But Marshall is a different animal and they will probably win by double digits...

Just crazy...

They have decent amount of athletes. They run a true spread, but it'll be like playing Spring Hill. Nothing that Silsbee having seen....

Just a casual observation. It a usually a trend that when the Kountze basketball program is down, Silsbee's is up, and vise versa. So maybe when this year's wave of talent leaves, maybe we'll see Kountze Hoops get back to where they used to be....
