That defense did flex it's muscles after that first drive. Heck, my vocal cords flexed their muscles and hollering all night and rooting that d on. Lol

B Foster showed he can run the ball a little if he number is called. Good extra dynamic. I liked the way Martin ran this game. Patient. And boy, ohh boy. Taylor sure knows how to finish off runs, he lowers that shoulder and punish that last defender. If he was a little bigger, even like 30 lbs, he'd be a d -1 talent for sure. On defense, game ball goes to #20 MLB and #22 . Kid was an enforcer in the middle (LB) and #22, Sells, was in on so many tackles, I lost count on how many times his name was called. Great pass breakup on a crucial 3rd down for this kid! Also, honorable mention on the CB on defense with the key interception in the second half. I believe it was Cam White. Liberty is a nice team, though. They just rely too heavily on JJ Slack... This kid had to constantly make big plays on offense (QB) and defense (safety). I think what they were trying to do would've worked but seems they fizzled out in the second half. Lack of depth it appears. They do have decent size (one of the RB's was a load), but lack speed. And like many say, their offense is pretty boring. Vidor , BC, and H-J seems to do more with their run based offense...

So the coach himself lost us the game? Wow.... Smh

How many times a have do Liberty usually chunk the rock?

Silsbee's defense showed up well to stop that Lind of offense. They shut Vidor down and stuffed Bridge City. I think for the most part, besides garbage time, shut H-J down. Now Liberty do have better athletes running our of their formations, but it a not anything Silsbee haven't seen. It'll just be a tougher game than expected, ....we still wins by a couple of scores...

I know Liberty is good, I'm just trippin on the EASY part. They're good, but Liberty is still the huge underdogs here.

With Silsbee, you play the percentages. If silsbee runs 80% of the time, you load the box about 80% of the time. Just hope that you are ready when they do pass. Our coaching is so sporadic and sometimes downright confusing, we may bust a big run when they don't load the box expecting the pass. Because you won't see us too often adjust the offense to what the defense is giving us. Its like our whole nights worth of plays are predrawn, order and all no matter the down or situation. Like playing the computer on the old NES game Tecmo Bowl....

So LaPorte isn't mathematically eliminated yet?

Seems like the issues in Baytown is they can't keep their homegrown talent in place when they make it to high school. The numbers shown actually resembles BISD, probably a lot different demographics. Numbers seem to be decent in Baytown. My point is, coaches have little big time talent and the numbers they have are probably middle tier football players... Sterling will have a hard time competing in their district... Competing with North Shores, Uniteds, West Brooks, and CE Kings, schools with good athletes. The good talent just isn't at Baytown Lee. And GCM, I think have had some decent seasons in the past....

Bingo. Last coaching staff, defense was non existant. This staff, defense is better. And there was no talk about offense current staff's first year with Tyler, Jones, and those receivers. Offense was explosive. Last year's offense wasn't bad either. This year, they've taken a step back, mainly due to playcalling, but I like the scheme better and the last regime's scheme...

You see this, huh? Why have Big Ned NOT Recieved any votes at least? (they should be ranked too). Weak as I don't know what... This is a joke...

And why haven't West Brook gotten a vote? Wth? Congrats that Woodville finally gets votes, although I feel they should be ranked....
