I threw that in a joke from a reference from last year and is losing 2 starters last year... Central isn't fun sized this year. And IMO, Silsbee Lite is a slap in the face for those current hard working basketball only guys.. And they (the media) started saying Silsbee Lite because of you. The 'team' plays with what they have. Silsbee basketball team will be good. The TEAM took looses, 2 early to good teams. The Silsbee team plays tomorrow night and they'll be going for the win, not looking like a charity case being called 'Lite'.

And BTW, Silsbee wins by 10.

Well, disregard the silly Silsbee lite crap. This Silsbee team is good and these kids on the current roster busses tail in practice to be called Lite by their supporter? They're playing these games and you play games to win. Because if Coach Sig had a problem with a 'Lite' team, he just cancel all games until the football players come back, like other schools do.

I think special teams will be in our favor. Will you punt or kick to us? If not , you lose the field position battle. Also, our FG kicker is very good, and I trust him to knock a clutch late game FG down...

You have to play the best to get where you want to go. Coach em up all week, then line em up on game day and let's see what happens. Hopefully our overall team speed will give them fits...

Not at all. I stated what we need to do on BOTH sides of the ball. Read right above and see what I said about doing their power run game. I can't speak on their passing game because I haven't seen Carthage passing footage... Point is, we need huge showings in both sides of the ball and on special teams to pull off this upset. Strange that I had to reword this...

I don't know about their passing game, but I've seen video of their running style. They're like us, except they run out of an offset I formation, but its a power run game. O-Linemen block well, and Ingram isn't that much faster than last year, but he's a load to bring down. You gotta hit this guy before he gets a full head of steam. Our linemen will need to have a huge day. On offense nothing spectacular, just can't have any turnovers or any stalled drives. We need scores every drive. We have an excellent kicking game, so no shame in kicking that FG. We'll win the field position battle because they won't punt or kick to us, so we need to make them pay. They're undefeated and have been plowing the competition, so I see nothing wrong with them taking their first loss Friday.

Yea, I was leaning more toward the local teams who's season ended at the other team's hands.

From last year. PN-G vs. College Station, Silsbee Vs. Carthage, and PA Memorial Vs. Temple. Let's go and get different results and send those guys home packing!

Silsbee was a me to run really well against Carthage last year... So is it that much different up front for them? Meaning the D-Line. Are they that much better than last year? Because Silsbee's O-Line is better than last year's... If Silsbee can play bully ball like they be been doing well over a month now, then it'll come down to if Silsbee's defense can slow Mr. Ingram and the Bulldog offense down...

Strange thing I noticed. The teams left in region 3 are Silsbee, Carthage, Kilgore, and Henderson... And Silsbee knocked off Center. I guess it's to no one's surprise that there is a 75% chance that region 3 will be represented by someone from that district...

They've gotten progressively better. But there were flashes early. Even in the scrimmage vs. Lumberton. I'm with you in that it all needs to come together vs. Carthage WHILE the Offense is till clicking with the young guns leading the charge...
