The old Hebert alum pushed for it and was hellbent on opening back up their neighborhood school. Personally, I was against it and found nothing wrong with just Central and West Brook...
-
Not a west ender, I bet. Even west end guys know the demographic makeup of Beaumont. He probably owns a rent house, which is how he pays Beaumont taxes. See many like him that and the throw subtle jabs every chance they get, but get sentimental when you talk about the 'Greenies'.

Is there a language barrier here? I've NEVER said Central had mold prior to Harvey. Grabbing info from thin air again. I said Central was in poor conditions for the last 20 years. ...and Central didn't have water leak issues, rodent, and insect issues like South Park. Try again...
-
And I'm no expert. Never claimed to be. Did you grab that info from thin air? ...but there's nothing wrong with my eyes though...

I've had several close relatives that's walked through those halls, the Middle School, that is. I would know. The people still holding on to the high school days and made a big stink about its demolition didn't even have kids or relatives there and just wanted the old eyesore to remain, only because of nostalgia purposes... Central has been in poor condition for at least 20 years. I assume that Harvey only made things worse as Harvey couldn't have made things better...
-
Wrong. The old South Park was in bad shape because it was in horrible condition probably about 20 years prior to its demolition and was a rodent, insect, and mild infested eyesore.

My question is who who'll be the mean pit bulls on this team that want to man up and go after their best player this year? Newton and Tyler are gone and those guys were very aggressive on defense and both had quick feet. -
Don't start....
-
They will be a name change if the schools combine...
-
My opinion, and it will sound biased because I bleed Maroon and Gray... And because after this year, I'll have no kids there... I think they should just poney up the dough, get the numbers together and fix/ rebuild Central (long term). They need the short term solution, but I don't think it should be at Ozen. Those kids won't mesh and it'll be a huge mess. This wouldn't have been an issue had Ozen not been opened from jump street.
-
They'll definitely make a decision on time. Question is, which decision will it be? So many variables. So much ' numbers crunching '. Also many others issues if this is done wrong. Also, this particular board is not the elected board, the board we voted for not too long ago, so many of us question their concern of this whole ordeal. Seems like they couldn't give a rats you know what about athletics in Beaumont....

Should PAM's Jones be starting on both sides of the ball??

I say yes.. although 've is valuable as heck on offense. You gotta do what you gotta do for the team. If it increases your chance to win, then heck yea. In the playoffs, you can't hold back because if you lose, you don't want to have had something else left in your arsenal that you 'could have used'. -

...And most seem to agree that AAU coaches can coach just because they're former NBA players... But that's another topic for another day. -

I'm aware of how good Memorial is. But I've already explained why I called them the big 3. And using Silsbee as a gage is weak because Silsbee will beat anyone in SETX with little to no problem, including Memorial. Big 3, meaning big 3 in district..
