  1. Not really. I saw Silbee scrimmage Lumberton the week before Harvey. The defense was flying yo the ball and hitting hard. Silsbee's decision at that time was made to bring the starting RB over to defense for linebacker and to bring 2 sophmores in to tote the ball on Offense wasn't made yet. So, in actually, it might've been a blessing for PN-G. I say that to say this. I've seen silsbee play the last 3 weeks. I've also seen PN-G play twice in the last 3 weeks. 1 in person and 1 online. Wouldn't been a lot closer than you think had circumstances been different.
  2. This will be a he'll of a game... A strain on both defenses...both will face unique and unorthodox offenses... First coach to make the adjustment wins...
  3. Yep.I forgot what the big man's name was...
  4. The team I'm talking about had the PG named Gonzalez. Played alongside a solid big man.
  5. Just going be what I was told from 'the horse's mouth' .
  6. Never specified. He was just stating about this week....
  7. That was within the last 10 years...
  8. I remember LC-M had a pretty good squad with a 6'8" big man with a really crafty PG that was the QB on the football team. I think they held a state ranking during that time. They were 5a and won district I think...
  9. I will say that Big Ned has the coaching edge...
  10. Good test for Coach T..
  11. No games this week. I was told that Central couldn't find anyone that would play them...
  12. Got confirmation. Central isn't playing in that tournament....
  13. You know in football, you don't let the QB or the kicker 'hit stick' you. Lol
  14. Yea, redemption is always sweet...
  15. I saw it too. The guy that caught the INT got knocked hard out of bounds. Kinda embarrassing. You don't let the QB give you a decleater...
  16. He'll be receiving all crow tomorrow... Deer lease tonight. Lol..
  17. Did some research on Center... They like to pass. They double the amount of passing yards vs. Running yards. and when they do run the ball, it's with the QB. So I assume he is is athletic. But the major thing is they have a stud WR #3 that goes both ways I think. Almost all of the pass plays go to him and he can catch and make a move and he's a home run hitter. Not too worried about that because Silsbee has seen this type of team and athlete in Navasota and their stud receiver. We should be able to run at will on Center, which I'm sure that's what Coach Smith want to do anyway. It's too the point now where you pick your poison. Deal with the Young Guns in the running game or deal with this speed on the outside with Barnes and Lowe...
  18. He'll be on soon enough to eat crow...
  19. Silsbee - 39 Center - 24
  20. And LC-M has a rb that's arguably one of the best in SETX with great size and physical They'll have to get a handle on that kid...
  21. Don't know. Just heard one of the middle schools that feeds into Lee has some good talent...
  22. I want to see him myself. I'll see in a local tourney or in the heat of district play.
  23. I find myself having to reword things often to you these days. The eligibility thing was CLEARLY a jab at Nederland and CLEARLY explained why. Try to keep up. I'm not as dense as you think on any sports subject. ..and I want to see this kid with my eyes. There were a few really good kids who I averaged 30 ppg and were unstoppable on the AAU scene and when playing for their schools, barely averaged over 10 ppg. Meaning that when he plays the big 3, you know, the 3 teams that will be 1, 2, or 3 in district, well see how he does. Again, I HAVEN'T seen the kid yet but since y'all are crowning him the next Colton Weisbrod, I'll make sure to keep him on my radar...
