I don't know...

Young guns imposed their will tonight...

Wet game? Bridge City is run heavy. We are too. Silsbee, Feed the Young Guns and get out of the way and see what it do. Somebody's run defense will need to flex their muscles.

#3 (Theo Foster) is a baller. A 3 year starter. He'll be key for our running game the remainder of the year... -
Johnson stayed in the game the whole time and was taking hits late in the third. That made no sense to me. He was still running and scrambling at that point. He stayed in the 4th, but to only hand the ball off.. still would've benched him. The grand scheme would be to get that backup some snaps. Look at how it worked for us. Phoenix didn't get hardly any snaps this year and it showed.. in blowout games, you gotta get your star player out. Faircloth would've been kicking himself in the rear end has something happened to Boy Wonder...

You got everything right. You said it weeks before the game and how it would happen. I didn't want to believe it because I wanted to believe that we turned it around and figured some things out. We unravelled and just came out flat. Coaches could've made better adjustments though to make this more competitive... -

Well, I knew it would be hard with Davis out and Phoenix in at QB. I expected uabtk just stay running the ball, but 4 interceptions from the backup, 1 being a pick 6 won't get it done. Running the ball worked better than I thought. #3 Foster and #28 Corbin was gashing them up. I guess since the PN-G staff realized that all we'd do is run the ball so they brought their safeties up to stop the run. lucky for us and as mentioned by a PN-G fan, PN-G defense is horrible at tackling so we still got yards. On defense, we held pretty good until Boy Went to another level. His most impressive pass was the corner TD pass on the right side. Right on the money, in stride and with good coverage. We did good at stoping him from running, but we can't just let receivers just run 3 defenders and just catch a wide open TD pass on blown coverage. Hopefully, the issue with Our starting QB isn't that serious and he can play the rest of the year. Davis wouldn't have been enough, but he WOULDN'T have thrown 4 interceptions and a pick 6. Central still makes the playoffs, butboir coaches need to use this game as a learning tool for defense. What to do and not do against a good offense. And make no mistake, this PN-G offense if amongst the best that Central has played ever. Rivals the 2014 CE King offense and the 2011 PA Memorial offense... -

I'm talking about eye test. I've actually seen Newton play over the last 2 years as well as West Brook. It's accurate IMO what I did. Maybe I should've worded it just as good as. But yea, the WB RB, the WB QB, and like 3 or the WR's. Question for you, FastTurtle. Have you honestly seen West Brook within the last 2 years? -

WB Tex , I've seen Newton play. They're good, but there's several athletes better than Newton's best. -

Now, I was going to roll with everything that you said, but this is downright ridiculous. Not being biased, but I've actually seen Newton AND Brook play this year. WB has close to 6 athletes better than Newton's best athlete... -

WB, end of the day, look at it like this... Brook is still a middle of the pack 6a school.. middle tier... Newton is top tier in the or classification, blowing through everyone in their enrollment and higher. Had West Brook beaten TW, they would've have been, IMO, a top tier 6a program... So big boy or not, the Newton guy can talk. Woodville can too. They used to be bottom tier, but now they're middle of the pack. they, like WB, are looking for that defining win to put them on watch as a state power.. -
Smh...Sad too. Some of these kids on this team are close to me and I give them wise words when I see them. Dropping down would be better...
