  1. So basically, he is doing the same thing that Jackie Semien is doing. Same position she took a few years ago with Beaumont ISD. Congrats, Ashley, my guy!
  2. Yep. He put on some serious size between his Jr. And Sr. Year while keeping the explosiveness.
  3. you’re right. He was a senior on the 2007 football team.
  4. I’m sorry. I got him and Chopper mixed up. I think frog last played for the 2005 team, so that means he was C/O 2006 if memory serves me correct.
  5. I want to say he last played on the 2003 Central team, so that means he was C/O 2003.
  6. We’re not gonna have that discussion. 🙄🙄
  7. Leland McElroy - Central Christine Michael - West Brook Calvin Tyler - Ozen Rodney Randle - Ozen Devwah Whaley - Central Damien Heard - Central Demarcus Smith - West Brook Robert McGrue - West Brook Steadman Williams - Ozen JaKobi Jones Ozen (in no particular order)
  8. That’s what’s it’s about. Winning the game. I’m sure those coaches that actually beat that Silsbee team didn’t complain not one time about Elam. I sure in the heck wouldn’t.
  9. No, I chose my words correctly. ‘Legitimate’ argument. I never said a good argument. That’s your words. But playing devil’s advocate, it based on production compared to the other Silsbee greats. Same debate with Bosha.
  10. Also adding on the way Elam scored his buckets, maybe the opposing team’s coaches should’ve put a defensive game plan in place to stop leak outs and snow birding. Blame them. If your team’s player can snowbird and leak out, you’d be a fool not to let him continue to do it.
  11. Key words here…. Legitimate argument. And I did watch that kid’s games. And about Elam. Know know about his age situation and how he scored his baskets. UIL signed off on it so it was what it was. He scored a ton of baskets, so he also has a legitimate argument no matter how anyone feels about his game or age.
  12. Well, I wonder if folks know that Bosha set the alltime scoring record at that school. So he legitimately has an argument IMHO…
  13. A Heff/Wiesbrod debate is laughable at best. The gab between their high school talents and skills are as wide as the Pacific Ocean.
  14. Do you have comprehension issues or something? Or are you that scared of the resident WB fan getting on your arse? I’m convinced it’s the latter. But gone ahead about your day. 😎
  15. I’ll gladly give you a prediction as soon as you acknowledge here on record that West End Bruins had a (how did you say) pitiful season last year.
  16. United - Terrance Arceneaux Central - (Based on after HS success) Tyrin Atwood or Nijal Pearson.
  17. Wrong. I only know about Nederland’s Spring Game. 🤷🏾‍♂️
  18. Congrats to him. It’s just something. When you see the kids in HS and you automatically know you’ll be seeing them in the NFL in a few years.
  19. That was the 2018 football team. Taylor and Martin graduated that following spring in 2019…
  20. 2014 Central PJ Locke, Michael Jaquet, and Devwah Whaley
  21. Well, we know Coach Green wasn’t coaching. But if you know who actually was coaching, then you’d understand what happened…
  22. As much as we keep up with the dunk counts, we all already know who would’ve been registered for the dunk contest. 😁
  23. First of all, I’m expecting Dotson to blossom into the Yates type role. I’m expecting Payia to be a little better, but not on the level as Porchia. I’m also expecting Davis to step into his starting role and be VERY key to this team’s success. That along with some really talented players coming off the freshman team, one good guard off the JV team, and those two freshmen that’s on varsity that will. Sophomores next year. to answer your initial question, I think it’ll be a little more than just replacing Yates and Porchia.
  24. They sure didn’t win one this year…. 🤷🏾‍♂️. Their own fault.
