It's actually quite surprising that Memorial HS didn't take in water being that the area used to be marshland AND that the high school parking lot routinely floods even in light rain. Also, not even 3 blocks away, there was horrible flooding at homes and the elementary school that's also on 9th avenue. I'm starting to think that the damage was not assessed from the inside, but only from the outside...

Not really a big loss on the football team. Dill didn't play football and Williams wasn't an impact on the gridiron. At least for last year's Central team. But it will be a huge impact for the basketball team this year....

Difference is Nelson has much more coaching experience than Peevey. I think Nelson comes with a game plan. West Brook will try to out talent Central. Thing is that Central is a lot more athletic this year than last... I see..... Central - 35 West Brook - 24

I completely agree. A lot of those young guns return on defense for Silbee, and they're getting after it from what I've seen. Like I've said before, arguably the fastest kid in Texas is on this Silsbee offense and I expect him to be utilized a lot more this year. PN-G always has a good scheme that the kids buy into so they'll be ready on offense, but the defense .... I just don't see them being as good as last year with LeJune not patrolling the middle...

Well, when you have the 3 stooges for 4 years and a coach that is only cabable to call jet sweeps every other play for the next 4 years, it's pretty damn easy to have a winning record against Central...
