These Pirates do a lot of things great on O, but I'm more impressed with their Defense. I think when it's said and done, Vidor may be the most complete team in district, meaning their Defense, Offense, and special teams are all on the same level. But I hear this Nederland team has a good defense. Pretty obvious holding an explosive Memorial team to 13 points. This game will probably be won with a 2nd half turnover that turns the tide of this game. I have it.... Big Ned - 14 Black Pearl - 28

Central band is without a drum major so Ozen will win the battle of the bands. Central Silver Stepper will win battle of the dancers... And not sure about what uniforms will be worn...

Game will be pretty close.. Ozen moved the ball well on a seasoned Vidor defense last night. But Central should win just flat out having more talent and more depth. This would be the theming point for Central. Put this team away early, get better and avoid injury and see if you can get good enough to hopefully knock off Nederland or PN-G..

Its really hard to say. Vidor has played 2 scrub offenses. Nederland did until they bogged down a strong Memorial offense. I haven't seen Nederland with my own eyes, but I'd say it's a toss up at this point. I was told that Nederland's defense was coached up and executed the game plan to a 'T'. Vidor's defense flies to the ball with sure tackling and hard hitting and does well never slowing yac yards... I think Vidor will have to pass some against Nederland and can't just line up and run like they've done against Central and Ozen....
