I hope one of those receives are ready to have more passes thrown their way. Last year, Jones wasn't the best passer that I've seen. Lots of under throws and over throws. I've also seen some unforced drops. That's shouldn't happen to a player of his caliber. Hopefully this year, New QB and a year to get better at catching the pass will result in better results to help the ground game some...

This! I've seen and heard it firsthand last year, even though the obvious results showed themselves every game... Some people just won't accept change no matter what and will gripe and grumble all year.

Yea, C was special, but I think Thomas will be fine. He's healthy and I think he'll have a big season, just like he did as a Sophmore.

I don't care about the spread. I love the offense Silsbee ran this year. Stretch run plays, counters, playaction passes, ect.

Yes... I nicknamed him 'Mr. Playoffs' when he played and he was VERY key in our success on our 2008 AND 2009 teams. I also share Jag Insider's sentiments... If he don't get the position, let him be on the staff. He can teach our players a lot, being that he also endured a lot of off the field issues during his time at Central. He could be a great role model and tutor as well as a coach...

No shade was thrown. It was an honest mistake, but indie hear them say it, and I thought it was correct, until I spoke with a few older Silsbee fans and they pointed that out. The verbiage was misleading as it was stated first state title in any sport.

Rossow was a dang animal. Love his game. It will be necessary to see a backcourt that consists of Bush, McCain, and Adams... But I think they may move Adams to the post, being that Adams may be the tallest player on the team next year.

Just seen on social media where they Called D. McCain down to celebrate with the team and a UIL guy stopped him at the barricades. The team then decided to come to him with the trophy and celebrate with him. Very nice gesture. #mybrotherskeeper
