BISD's dropout rate isn't really that high thanks to certain dropout prevention programs that's been in place for a while to help out... Nonetheless, what Jaginsider said was true... Not many problems with keeping players on the field. When report cards roll around, very rarely do you see student athletes ineligible due to grades..

I could see him wanting to leave as well, but he worked hard to get up to 6a. I don't think he'll move down. He'll stay 6a, imo... But the points you make of Nederland is true... And also the athletes in Beaumont... You don't know where they'll pop up.. but in Beaumont, the chances are that WB will get them since WB is really the football school. So he'll get first dibs, if anything...

A step down with really good athletes, which Nederland dont have many of... WB finished 9-! In district and return everyone... Plus, the new coach at Nederland won't get more that what Flanagan is making now. Neumann got a huge raise, remember? The new coach won't make what neauman makes now...

It's gonna be tough... They'll go far inbthe playoffs, but losing Harris, Mike ,,McCain, and Tre, will hurt more than you think... Next year, and after that, huge drop off of talent between Adams and Devin.... Central suffered that same thing when losing Toe Toe and company to graduation and the young guns, TJ Atwood and Nigal Pearson was left...

This group of kids I know really well and hope the best for them... We've had plenty of Central/Silsbee banter even since the summer... And since tournament season is winding down now, I'll be checking out Silsbee basketball twice a week from here on out to rep those Tigers.

I heard that Lincoln returned pretty much everyone just like Silsbee. Should be a good one.
