To add in that, we have some good playmakers on our defense. Thomas, Uribe, McCain, and Hagen in the front seven has made good contributions. In the secondary, that Newton wows me back there at CB, while Sells and Collins have been playing better...

Scoring points on BC won't be the problem. The problem will getting their offense off the field. They can move the ball in chunks but prefers to slowly move the ball up and down the field. At some point, you have to stop them. Preferedly, early in the possession. They have a HUGE line and I believe either that Center or that right guard is a mountain.

Actually, there was and quite a lot of whining and excuses in Twitter and Facebook. It even escalated to really bad comments about the City of Port Arthur in general, Port Arthur kid's home training, 'if Faircloth coaches that team, they'd be state champions every year', ect. Then when many got on their case, some pulled the chicken 'you know what' move and deleted their comment...

..because that's all BC does is run. Silsbee does pass more. But I'll take the Running efficiency... Silsbee's yards per touch and TD's per touch is higher than BC's, coming out the backfield.

Actually, you're pretty accurate... They run hard and are a load to bring down. I've heard many PAM fans say it after seeing Vidor. I've seen it when they Olay central. A Vidor RB was able to break free of a tackle and proceed 30 yards to paydirt... you have to wrap up and drive them back. And you MUST have the angle on them because they are slippery...

I started hollering about the Davis kid since around mid season. would've been the perfect time to bring him in... But, Boudreaux it is now...

In the head to head matchup, There was a silsbee RB that ran for 255 yards and averaged 11 yards per carry and 3 TD's and his counterpart finished with over 100 yards and also had 11 yards per carry vs Bridge City. so yea, we'd say 'Smoke Town' has a better backfield than BC...

Ok. Understandable. I think they are over achieving right now. This team is young. they were supposed to be a couple of years away....but these young guns are balling, big time. And I know they got blown out by The Woodlands, but every team suffered the same fate as West Brook, including Katy. Maybe they'll play over their heads in the Longview game. I hope they do.
