I didn't mean it to come off like that. But it was generalized with Vidor as a whole... I know for a fact that there are some racist, you and I both know that, but that would be true for any town or city...

So why are we bringing up lil Mayfield and Nederland football? This is about Vidor football, blue strip, and Coach Matthews...

Ok... Great environment for these 2000's kids.... An environment from the stone ages, but I guess... Whatever floats those "old head's" boat.

I just think that playing neutral side on this would've been best for the Vidor football team even though I see what Coach Matthews is doing with the blue strip...

By me having a high school football player now, as far back as pee wee football, I've had dealings with a lot of those Vidor kids for years now... But I see what you're saying. Being racist is subjective. You'll never know a racist because there are so many fakers.

You know, Mayfield... I'll respect your sentiments on this and move it..

I say leave it... It's about the Vidor football team.. the HC is mentioned in the article... And I think most can remain mature enough to discuss it...

The police lives matter deal is a touchy subject because there are crooked and racist cops out there, also, there are good ones that just do their job, and go home to their family. I personally know many police officers like this. But with tentions already high right now between the police and black people, I personally would've picked a neutral side to take the distraction off of those kids. Those Vidor kids are regular kids. Many of them aren't racist as well as the total population as i know and are friends with several Vidorians... The few 'old heads' are the ones responsible for continuing the hate from the horrible past.

I see the peanut gallery is out in force. The applause machine must have flashed like Christmas lights...

....and maybe new school buildings and classrooms vs the 1970's version that now exist.
