Yes, I have a daughter at Central as well and she finished as the #1 freshman and in the top 5% sophmore the last spring, so she will finish high at Central. Being around those circle of kids, there are really smart kids at each school, imo.

I think his point is this... I believe Ozen and Central are academically below standards, therefore, kids can transfer to another school or district with no repercussions. West Brook is above standards, therefore, the majority of the kids looking to move and not leave Beaumont go to West Brook. West Brook benifits as their enrollment shows.... Yeoj has a high schooler at WB that excels academically, so I see why he's adamant about this...

By me having a high school football player now, as far back as pee wee football, I've had dealings with a lot of those Vidor kids for years now... But I see what you're saying. Being racist is subjective. You'll never know a racist because there are so many fakers.
