  1. No need to get uil involved.. Nederland always follow the rules to a 'T'. Nederland always signs up for spring football, like Memorial, Central, Ozen.... And they start 2 a days a week late like their supposed to. Uil won't have anything to say....
  2. Yet more proof that spring ball exists. Thoughts? Excuses? Opinions?
  3. And BOOM goes the dynamite!
  4. I agree. Central wouldn't win that game even if it was played 20 times. And you should control yourself better. That's why in against this that BISD is proposing...
  5. It's not that at all... Lol
  6. You're really trying to make me go there... I've already had to get in fool's tails in the past over bringing up that ridiculous notion of 'atmosphere' ...
  7. Lemme guess... You're bored again....
  8. I disagree with our board president's idea to move games to a neutral site. Teams including bisd and PN-G teams live for home field advantage. As one person previously stated, it's a great thing just to think... you beat them at the Reservation, you get to see them all disappointed and sad. Also, both of these stadiums are tops in SETX. Having to change local venues for something like this makes no sense. Imo, Soccer isn't really that big at Central, so the circumstances of a scuffle at a soccer match shouldn't cause a trickle down effect for football games in Friday night. The games between Central/PN-G has been very competitive, no matter what stadium it's played in. Please, Frossard (sp)/Caveness, meet a mutual agreement and keep it the same and keep these classical games at The Rez or Da Butch....
  9. I'm here sifting through the rubble and dust... Lol
  10. It's funny. The article also states that athletes and coaches being treated fairly is a concern as well, which could be what sparked these incidents... Why isn't this being questioned? I'm willing to bet that the Central coaches would tell you.... I agree completely...
  11. If more Port Arthur-tonians (or whatever they call themselves) would think this way...
  12. Chocolate sprinkles on my popcorn, please...
  13. Administration, as in principals? The coaching situation isn't good, I'll admit. Probably didn't have as much to do with Ozen, rather, the district and all responsible. That man has been reassigned, so I think they will be better. But yea, we both agree that dumpster fire may be a little too harsh of a word....
  14. There's a player that no one is talking about that will play basketball and will probably be one of the better on the ball defenders on the team. Quick feet, active hands, acceleration, and very physical in the ball. Calvin Tyler's defense will probably earn him quite a bit of PT...
  15. Ozen is not a dumpster fire, as one guy stated. I've been really close to the program the last 4 years. There's quality kids and quality talent there. There's many kids that achieve in the classroom that's on the field, and good coaches on the sidelines that keeps the players interest at heart before their own. Maybe , overall, the team wasn't or haven't been that good, yea. But haven't that been that case at Lumberton, Vidor, or in PA the last few years? Dumpster fires you say? Wrong word to use, imo. Now if Ozen comes out of the gate fireing on all cylinders with the new coach at the helm, would they still be called dumpster fires? If Nederland misses the playoffs, would they be called a dumpster fire?
  16. Whatever... I agree. It'll be hard to mess this one up, but ironically, I've seen it all before, like that song....
  17. Central will definitely have a say in the district title...
  18. Lol... *when I saw him
  19. Adams was like 6'3" when unsweetened him about 2 months ago... I'm sure he's taller. It's believable that Devin is taller too. Kid grew pretty fast in a short about of time...
  20. We've had this talk. I've told you why. My wife worked at PA Memorial high school for over 2 years....
