It's really a compliment... Because Coach Neumann always seem to find 'that player' and utilizes the heck out of them and have been for about 5 years making a serious district championship run, whereas teams like Central and Ozen has 'those players' full of talent, speed, athleticism and lose to those Nederland teams. Just imagine if the Nederland had Ozen, Memorial, or Central's talent to his disposal... It's a head shaker, that's for sure....

...and also, one of the refs at this game was seriously in his feelings frenquently Stopping play to fuss at kids or to banter back and forth with fans just because fans heckled his arsenal after several stupid calls or the lack of calls...

Ozen played horrible and couldn't check New Caney's #3 Bolden for anything. Was waiting for Ozen to realize that the only major weapon on their arsenal was him. He shot out of that weak zone for much of the evening. I'm sure this kid had 30 points, all on 3s. And I also wonder why when a player get a hot, he is immediately taken out of the game. Hard to get into a groove that way...all I'm all, Ozen did just enough to win, such is enough in the playoffs. But against Bush, they will need to do better or they'll be taken to the woodshed. And I've been waiting on Comeaux to come alive. This makes like 3 weeks this kid haven't shown up. He's my guy. I hope he chooses the next game to come alive...
