  1. Understood.... And good explanation and observation.
  2. Yea, you're right. I have said that for 5 years. Lol . But I figure that the annual and secret Nederland spring game will hold more meaning now that PAM is here and that big bad mean Soulja is one again doubting you again...
  3. This will be the first time these two have not played each other... Pathetic... Livingston sure threw a monkey wrench in everything...
  4. ...and here's the thing...Central and Ozen has an advantage as they've been playing PAM for years and are very familiar with them. The only difference is that it's in district. And BTW, Memorial's big gun will be playing at Baylor next year, so you probably won't get a super charged PAM team like the one that marched to the State simis a few years ago...
  5. There was a sophmore RB, Foster that did quite well and ended up starting in the backfield with Whaley later in district. He had a couple of 100 yard games. He'll be legit...
  6. 4th place. Ok. Lmbo
  7. What's funny about Central being #1? What team do you follow?
  8. I think Nederland normally has 'that player'. You know, Krautze, Saey, Benjamin, the Meats, ext. I don't think there are any of those players coming. That's why I said that. Cupboard is dry...
  9. I put that there because of a few things. Jags return virtually everyone from a defense that was tops or 2nd to tops in the district. (9 or 10 returning starters in defense including the defensive player of the year). Also, they are one of the few teams that return a starting QB. On offense, they inherited a really good JV squad that I believe only lost 1 game last year that will translate really well to varsity.
  10. 1. Beaumont Central Jaguars 2. Port Arthur Memorial Titans 3. Port Neches-Groves Indians 4. Beaumont Ozen Panthers 5. Nederland Bulldogs 6. Vidor Pirates 7. Lumberton Raiders 8. Baytown Lee Ganders 9. Livingston Lions
  11. I wanna say it was 2002 and 2003. 1. WO-S 2. LC-M 3. Vidor 4. Lumberton 5. Silsbee 6. Ozen 7. Central 8. PN-G 9. Nederland
  12. Understood...
  13. This! I hate it!
  14. Coaching probably keeps WB from their full potential...
  15. 1. I've seen WO-S this year. Too light in the arse to consistently stop a large team like WB... 2. WB was bigger than your opponent from the state title game and probably just as or more athletic. 3. I agree with you on that, but would have still had their hands full vs. Keith Corbin Jr. (#1) for WB. 4. I can relate to the football parent as I'm also one. Congrats! Hopefully my son's team becomes state champions within the next 4 years....
  16. No. Lol... I mean 'about' the Silsbee kid, Thomas. Lmbo
  17. 1. I'm no West Brook fan. 2. WB was bigger than Foster in the trenches. 3. WB WR was the best in SETX for 3 consecutive years. 4. Recipe for disaster for a good WO-S team that proved to have problems with teams with size and just as much athleticism as them. (notice that I DIDN'T mention Central or Ozen) 5. Let me find out your feathers got ruffled because I mentioned big school. Lol
  18. I wonder if it's realized that there were/are some possible applicants that was/are here interested in the open position? Just good for thought...
  19. Off topic, but with the size WB had in the trenches, a good RB and a stud WR, you would have found that game Vs. WB similar or worse than the Foster game, IMO... But what about the argument with the Silsbee kid? He has a good argument, and I don't think he's hating. I agree with him.
  20. Have you've actually seen the WB kid play? Step outside of that small school stuff and check out some big school ball every once in a while...
  21. Ok, y'all are getting ridiculous now. Now one questioned the Mustang program. Why are we even talking about their program when this award is an individual accolade? And while you're downing Ozen, there is a valid argument that the Ozen RB could have won it as he set about 4 altime records in Ozen history and ran wild with: 27 total td's, 24 rushing TD's 1,809 rushing yards 8.86 ypc THAT'S a fact. Let's think before letting your personal dislike for OF cloud your posing ability...
  22. Why do y'all keep saying he's hating? He has an opinion just like y'all.
  23. Still don't see the relevance of 'beating the heck out of them' in this debate about the WRS award. A head scratcher indeed....
