The thing about West Brook is yea, they started the season off horrible, but have gotten progressively better. They got their first win vs. Longview in OT and played Central very tough the next day. Then, they play Silsbee tough. I don't think it's a coincide. West Brook may have gotten better. That happens the more games you play vs. Good teams...

I talked to one of the YMBL/BISD staff Friday, and I explained to him the situation with pool play, limited tournaments via UIL, and the displeasure of team's playing a possible 2 game tournament. He stated that they are going to take a closer look and explore going pool play. Well, at least that's what he told me...

Ozen's Comeaux (Sr) and Jones (Soph) made all tournament team. Congrats to these two.

Hes good, but this team goes as far as both Atwood and Pearson takes them. Pearson has other really good skill sets that he brings to the team. Atwood's will probably be the bulk of the scoring though...

More info that I've obtained. Atwood poured in 30 pts in the Championship game. So I guess it's safe to say they kept feeding the beast, just like I said yesterday after the West Brook game...

Its better this year. They play in one tournament, vs in years past where they play in 2. They already play twice in district, and if they're good enough, they meet in the regionals....with this scenario it's hard to avoid these two meeting . They're both good ball clubs..

Central's Phillips, Arceneaux, Bennett, and Pearson got on the all tournament team....
