  1. Not really. A rebound by your guards usually means the beginning of a really good fast break....think about it...
  2. Dominique was a good player. A very streaky player. He can play big, but also in some games, he turns the ball over at a rapid pace. Lamar signee will be turned alose this year... New coach will show you how it's done. He takes the rebound, goes coast to coast, always makes the best play on the fast break. Can finish at the cup, great body control. Has the flip shot, the floater, tear drop, hardly ever turns the ball over. Plays great defense in the ball. Sounds like great of skills to me. His only weakness to his game is the 3 point shot. But when he has the ball in his hands, it's normally going to be a positive play coming up.
  3. He's been the best playmaker on a loaded Central squad for 4 years now. You're pg is usually your best playmaker because he has the ball most of the time. Say what you say, but this kid will definitely be playing more PG in college. And you missed what I said. Atwood can shoot, he just don't shoot much. We're not discussing better shooting team. That's not what we're debating....
  4. Wrong, Cam. Ozen's Comeaux plays much bigger than his size. Also, Pearson has excellent ball handles, which is why he will be playing mostly PG in college. Atwood is a pretty good 3 point shooter.. He just don't take them often. But I guarantee you that his 3 pt. Percentage is about 40%.
  5. If you saw me and OF's rants, I've always been high on Comeaux. I talked him up all year despite others stating that he wasn't that good. I also took notice that he balled out in that state title game while 'others' didn't show up at all. Go back and read. True story. And skill set is more than knocking down. The three. Central has 2 seniors, one of them is a 4 year starter and the other one should have been a 4 year starter had it not been to 'politics'. Skill set. You say basketball is your first love, I respect that, but you should know that these two seniors have a high skill set to go along with experience and size. That's why they got many college offers. Ozen's Sneed is a good one, but he's just a sophomore and is currently vertically challenged... Not taking anything away from Ozen, but Central's duo isn't equal to Ozen's...
  6. Dang... Too bad. They would have needed him...
  7. You're wrong on a lot here, like really off... You're right about the bigs/guards thing but... Central won't Ned to go out to guard Gibson or Parrish. Ozen has 6'5" and a 6'6" perimeter defenders that will cause havoc on anything in the perimeter... Boyd/Comeaux =Atwood/Pearson? Stick to football and baseball with that, man. You trippin hard with that one. That was almost funny. Soph. Jones, Soph. Sneed and Jr. Tyler. Broussard. Sneed Will be a difference maker, no doubt. I've seen Tyler play and they only thing he will do good is play good defense. But you also forget that we will have the luxury of getting a really good JV team that the current HC has coached up. Now, the district games should be close because it's a rivalry, but Ozen won't be beating this year's team, imo...
  8. They say that Sodom can run the floor really well..
  9. Yes indeed. I've made this point many times...
  10. Besides Toe, Central lost 2 other players. Guillery, was a 4 year starter and Morris started for 3 years. Also lost the playmaker guard, Harrison. But the very good JV team that the current head coach coached should now be on varsity...
  11. Ok. We (Central fans) aren't the ones expecting him to be a difference maker. He's 7'3". We are ok with rebounds and altered or blocked shots. The difference makers will be TJ or Nigal. I guess the ones that expect Chris to be a difference maker or fans outside of the Central organization....
  12. That Silsbee/Central matchup will be something. I've really watched this silsbee group grow up and of course I'll be rooting for those Jags. I'll be happy for either winner. Kinda torn between the two... Lol
  13. All be say she say. AAW said he heard. Had he said he actually saw him, then I'd believe it... Just keep in mind that this kid will be asked to alter/block shots and grab boards. If he gives us points, that will be a bonus. we have scorers already.
  14. Silsbee will be there, trust me. Sterling won't be as strong, but that Bridgeport team... That's who the Tigers will need to be gunning for...
  15. Now, don't get it twisted, Adams and D. McCain can adjust, but how long will it takes? Depends on the player... Barnes adjusted really fast last year and was one of the first off the bench. Work hard, Fish.
  16. ...please.... Too much mental toughness to succumb to foolishness....
  17. Lol. I know what you mean. I was planning on seeing all games... Lol. Not sensitive...
