  1. I woud have a problem with someone if they put their hands on a woman in my presence.... Also, could her striking him be labeled as retaliation from him shoving her aside?
  2. No matter what, it's not ok for a man that twice as tall and twice her weight to put his hands on and push a woman. There's NO justification....
  3. He followed teenage boys and told several pictures of them.... Sounds like funny business to me... I would have a serious problem if he followed my son and took snapshots. Couldn't have been that much trouble... No one was penalized. Obviously, the UIL didn't find a problem with kids being at a 7 on 7 tourney...
  4. I'm not defending her... I admit, she was in the wrong, but again, with as many policeman present, there is no reason he shouldn't have called one of them to move her...
  5. Had no right to put hands on her, even if she was in the wrong...
  6. It still sits funny with me that 1 of these gentlemen followed teenage boys around out of town snapping pictures and the other one put his hands on and pushed a woman out of the way .....
  7. I didn't know the details, but the information that I later got was that Holmes didn't do it...
  8. Are we still in the 1990s when this used to be the norm? And Holmes should know better. I've met his parents before...
  9. Gone ahead... Your point and opinion is understood and respected....
  10. Some very good points and opinions being expressed here from different races, ethnic backgrounds, and birthplaces.
  11. I can weigh in in this topic from both sides.... Believe it or not, the stereotype for our black people is the be 'hard' or 'thuggish' as seen by the music scene, sports, ect. And we (black people) are viewed by white people as such. Sad, but true. Our people wear pants hanging down to their behind ect. Not all embrace this but most do. Black people view most white people as racists based on past actions or American history. It's not as abundant.... Or should I say it's not as transparent, but it still exists.... There were studies ran on this... A lost white person on a heavily populated interception was assisted by many people, while the lost black man received minimum help and was ignored or blatantly disrespected. At the end of day, I don't think race relations have gotten better or worse. The only difference is that now, during the social media era, most of it is done behind a screen name. Look on the local media links, you'll see it. Look in the inboxes.... You'll see it...actually I have proof as I have many hate messages from a few Caucasian people because I didn't agree with them in certain issues. Hopefully, I'm alive to see the ignorance on both sides hash out the differences. Ps. We could get deeper if I bring up the Mexican people or any one else of the Hispanic heritage.

  14. I guess the incident with him strongarming that kid to the bench didn't sit well with someone....
