You said GUARD, not PG in the above comment. Based on size, skill, ect, PG, yes. But guard? Nope. ...and maybe because I'm a fan of production. I want results. There a guard on his same team that produces even on the biggest stages. That's the player that I want. Of course, that's my opinion, for what it's worth. I'm no college coach or scout, so.....

I said if I started an all Setx team, Boyd would be my PG if you remember. OF and I have been having this same debate since last year, but he just won't see any logic except his ridiculousness...

Really good comparison. Silsbee 'lite' is still a very very good team and are still a legitimate front runner for your region. Central 'fun size' is probably in the same situation in their region as well. With that said, I actually see your side, but do you see my side? I highly doubt it. And that WOULDN'T amaze me at all... Anyway, after catching some Ozen/West Brook subvarsity action, I may travel down the road to Silsbee and see Lite duke it out vs. Fun Size.

No one is not respecting Silsbee basketball. I saw this team in the making a coupe of years ago... Win or lose, Silsbee, with all the experience on that team will be favored in all of their games.... Except Bridgeport, and that's if they still have Patterson...

It's already been said that Bellaire is having a down year.

imo, thechances of getting seriously injured in basketball is a lot less than in football. Plus, Arnold isn't a high flyer, meaning he won't be getting undercut trying to fly over defenders or hanging on the rim. That kid is good and would be a great asset to that basketball team. I understand being serious about football. But this kid was first noticed on the basketball court. I say finish it how you began.
