Central has kids are pretty good as there are a few that are really good in different sports.  We have some kids on the football team that has very high GPA's, so learning a lot of things on the run probably won't be much of a problem.  This may very well be Central's time as Visor lost Quirante, Livingston lost Collins and Ozen will be losing Jones.  But, that's not to say becuse 20-4a always has great football.

It's a good gesture and all, but it just doesn't sit well with me that West Brook will be giving up a HOME district game to a game basically in NS's back yard.  In district, you strive to get every possible advantage.  The only thing I can think of is you'll get some big time exposure, such as espn or something.  I don't think that's the case.  The  people from Reliant Stadium gave the invitation.  I  think that this could have been done in a pre district game or perhaps be used as a playoff venue.  Maybe West Brook should have declined...

[/quote]Only losses that bother me are the ones to Baytown Lee that let BH win district and a playoff loss to Brenham several years ago. The twins were supposed to be freshmen during the Vidor game and still rolled up over 400 yards. We clearly had the more talented team, Flannigan refused to adjust to Vidor's 3 or 4 a pop play-calling. Half the kids that lost to Vidor will be seniors next year so it's a different story now anyway. We've been to the playoffs 8 straight years and the individual talent level is ridiculous for the next 6 years so expect to make it 14 at least. Vidor wasn't the first and I'm sure won't be the last first round playoff loss in that span. An L is an L, as many as you saw last year you should know that.
