...and you just couldn't win your district outright, could you?  You had to split with Humble, that Nederland, our third place team, beat with ease.  That same Nederland team who Central beat 3 times, twice by double digits.  Like I said, Central would have crushed Crosby.  Don't kid yourself.  Football?  Sir, did you know this is the basketball forum?

Ozensfinest, I  want to be in your  corner ,but the things you say are just downright funny.  I'm a Jag fan and you're an Ozen fan, but you tear the head man down EVERY chance you get.  You do this and the man consistently makes the playoffs with YOUR team and went the farthest in the playoffs last year and wasn't too shabby this year, but all you want to do is spew the negative side.  You know, saying that Crosby was garbage...  Downplaying playing Yates tough this year.  Saying that the district is weak...  Stuff like that.  ...and it's ironic that you ONLY appear after an Ozen or 20-4a loss.  You truely are bitter for some reason, man.

Could it be that Crosby is very good?  They  are district Co-district,t champions, you know.  Could it be that Georgetown is very good?  They took down a talented Central bunch and then took down a good Nederland team (who did beat your panthers may I add).  Georgetown was prepared for a fast pace game vs. Central and a few days later (yesterday), was prepared for a slow down game vs Nederland that ,according to a lot of Nederland fans INCLUDING my Nederland contact, was the best possible matchup for them (they didn't want Central for a 3rd time).  Only time will tell, my fellow Beaumontonian (is that even a word?  Lol).  If Crosby or Georgetown make it to the regional final or the state simi's, then your point WON'T be proven....but at that point, you'll try to say, 'lets see if they can win a state title', right?  8) 8)  So please keep 'your case' restless. 

That Georgetown team, I tell you.  They did both our teams in real good in a 4 day span by holding them to really low scores.  Boy, that sucks.  Great season, nonetheless, Bulldogs.

Congrats on the win, Yates.  Way to get 'em a battle, Silsbee.  I hope you get them next year.

Not once did I get on coaching or .  Our kids had a great season.  I would have liked to go further, but sometimes, that's  how the cookie crumbles.  Since we basically return EVERYONE, our coaching staff will get more chances with this talented group.  I'm patient enough to see this.  Actually, this year, my realistic predictions of the season was NOT to make it to state.  It was others that made rash state championship appearance comments...

These Panthers are something else.  You're the last hope for Beaumont.  Keep it going.  Btw, I wonder if 'Ozensfinest' will give Coach Safest props for rallying this team back after being down... 8)

Basically, there was a simple problem with putting the ball in the hoop, and silly unforced turnovers.  Central also let Georgetown dictate the pace of the game.  Instead of forcing the issue, we basically was content with playing their game.  BTW, when Wileridge is being guarded by a player that's 6'3", he should get WAY more touches than he did.
