The Baytown Lee loss was a bad loss for Silsbee even tough it was the first game with the football players with 1 practice under their belts and on the road. A couple of those football players did not even suit out for that game. Do I think Silsbee beats Kountze now? Yes. Do I think Silsbee beats Central now? I don't know but I like their chances. I can assure you that based on what I have seen from watching Silsbee and Central early part of the season till now, Silsbee has improved much more as a team than what Central has done thus far. Does that equate in a Silsbee win over Central right now? No it doesn't. But then again, Central had no business losing to a Silsbee JV team neither. ;) [/quote]My basketball credibility is only based off of an opinion (your opinion).  ;) I Never said Silsbee don't get better than they were vs 3 weeks ago.  Where did you pull that information from?  I said Central have gotten better, which is scary considering they were already good at the beginning of the season (evident in blowing H-J away).  But it seems you're trying to downplay the Lee loss (HORRIBLE team with a HORRIBLE record to boot) by making mention of the Silsbee loss (who still had 2 of the regular starters on the game that played well may I add)

Here goes this 'atmosphere' thing.  Just like the argument with the Mid County Madness thing.  The arena had no bearing on the actual game.  This game would have played out the same way at either Silsbee or Sour Lake.  So a big crowd makes an atmosphere?  This was a good game and would have been a good game in ANY gym regardless of the number of spectators...

I have Central by 8.  I like the rebounding edge that Central will have with our length.  I like the fact that our 3 point shot is a lot better now than it was the first time we faced big Ned.  The only thng I Don't like is that Mitchell haven't played in a couple of games and may not play in this game.  Nonetheless, Jags have been playing lights out without him.  We won't shut Weisbrod down, but we have players that can slow him down.  We'll be ready to silence that rowdy Nederland crowd.

Ok, info a little off.  Going by memory.  It wasn't an offer, it was an 'interest' from TT...and it appears that the latest 'interest' was last Summer.  [Hidden Content] Still, nothing else of this was mentioned.  I wonder why that could be?

What happened to the offer at Texas Tech while he was a sophomore?

If this is true, what he said, then where was that offer that Mitchel received as a sophomore from Texas Tech (district champion 2010 team) ?Maybe I'm missing something here.  Now, he had an offer to play at LU?

I recall saying that H-J has trouble with athletic teams and some didn't believe me.  First Central, Then WO-S, then finally Silsbee.  The Hawks will need to do some tweeking before the playoffs start because I have a feeling you'll see Silsbee again or maybe even Yates.  You want to avoid the same kind of result like tonight.
