Looks like this was a real good tournament this year.  Most of the games appear to have been good ones, not many lopsided scores.  And now my JV Silsbee team has beat both Central and Memorial so neither one of a couple people on here have any room to harrass each other on that point.
Don't forget top mention 'lost to Nederland'  the 'Silsbee JV' team', that is.
 2.
All tourney team where can one find that?
I don't know where.  I know who was on the team because they announced them after the Central/Madison game...
Wrong. WB came out on fire against Ned making their 1st 4 3s. Ned kept pace and led after one 19-18. WB got cold in 2nd as Ned took a 7 pt lead into the half. WB started the 2nd half with a full court press. Ned broke it 3 times straight and scored the first 11 points of 3rd Q including a 17-1 run. Ned was just as tired as WB, so don't give me this WB was tired excuse. Ned simply wanted this 3rd place game more than WB.
No.  Wasn't really an excuse.  It's just that I've seen them both play.  Brook more than once.  Brook played a great game against a talented Madison team that I felt would beat all of our area teams.  Nederland lost to West Brook in the Dog Dome and also list to Central (Who might I mention lost to West Brook).  Factor that along with the fact that Nederland's game with Central finished at 11ish and West Brook's game finished at 12:30ish would mean that West Brook was indeed more tired than Nederland.
Oh! The 'team A' beat B who beat C, so A should also beat C scenario! ::) With that kind of thinking, then this must also be true: Ned beat Silsbee who beat Central, so Ned SHOULD have beat Central this morning, right? But that didn't happen. Or since HJ beat Ned by 15 and Central beat HJ by 18 or so, Central SHOULD have beaten Ned by 30+! But then HJ beat Kountze who beat Silsbee who beat Central. All teams have good nights and bad ones. Ned played really good today against WB, and WB was off. Did you even watch the game? Also, maybe you should look at the team Ned beat in the 1st round, OP Walker. They won the Cons. Bracket and went 3-1 in the tourney as well. For whatever reason you don't want to give Ned any credit, and it's getting old. I think what we are finding out is that about 7/8 area teams can pretty much beat each other on any given night. There is a lot of talent in the area, and there is not ONE distinct dominant team in SETX this year, yet.
Well, I do give Nederland respect.  It was that I was more disappointed that West Brook didn't put up a fight like they did against Madison .  The only thing that came to mind was tired legs.  Truly no disrespect to Nederland.  Heck, I'm glad Big Ned and Ozen had good showings at this tourney...

I predicted a double digit win, but not a 5 point win. Congrats Madison!
::) ::)
Same silly scenario you posted earlier.
Anyway....  ::) ::) .. Congrats to Nigel Pearson and E'Torrian Wileridge on making the all tourney team!
It should of been a double digit loss Tuesday when these 2 teams played. Nederland missed way to many free throws and layups.  It appears Nederland didn't today.  ;D
Ned did not miss any layups and made about 75% of FTs. Ned was up by as much as 23 before English took out his starters. Congrats to Weisbrod and English being selected to the YMBL All-Tourney team!
I second this.  Congrats!

 8. We need to keep an eye on #3 for Madison.  He's on fire from 3 point land.  We also need to fire up some 3's

 10. This game was between 2 well matched teams.  The final Scott was not an indicator ofhow competitive this game was.  West Brook hung with them, even taking the lead sometimes.  They just couldn't keep it'scrappy' in the last few minutes of the game.  West Brook IMO may be in the district championship race.  They were  that good. Madison? They have unreal height and length for a 3a team.  Their guard play, however is what makes them go.  #5  for them couldn't miss as he hit the 3 ball on quick catch and shoots, and he killed the mid ranged jumper.  Silsbee and H-J, expect to see them in Austin...
 11. I loved the way Central battled back when they were down early.  A couple of key buckets by Mitchel and Pearson got us going.  Way to gut it out and make it to the championship round.  We'll need our best game top beat Madison and their twin towers.
 12. Ohh.  Ok.  Memorial.  I thought Memorial was pretty good.  And Silsbee beat them?  Those guys will do nice things in district.
 13.
4:45 left in 4 56-45 Silsbee
Who are they playing?
 14. Congrats to big Ned on taking down the #1 team!  Keep it going all the way to state!  You have this Jag's support!
 15. I think he's doing pretty good thus far with such a young group (only 3  seniors on the team).  In Ozenfinest's defense, he's a football only guy, so cut my fellow Beaumonteer  some slack.  :) ;)  (it's in question if he really knows football)
 16.
OMG how in the heck Ozen lose to WB please remove Savaet of his duties smh
um, West Brook is actually good this year...and besides, Ozen have already beaten West Brook this year, so it was a return of favor, so to speak.    I don't think that's grounds for fireing the coach...
 17. 18. In the Central/Ridge Point matchup from yesterday, Morris (Cent.) - 18 Pearson (freshman) - 12
 19. I heard that the Bears just mad a furious rally at the end.  Fortunately for the Tigers, they had a sizable lead to withstand the surge.
 20. Does anyone have the box scores and stats for all games today?
