I'm ready to see if our team (and staff) have given up on the season.  There is still something to play for.  Time to let it all hang out and hold nothing back.  Home Saturday game.  Let's get it.

I fully expect him (Robert Mitchell)  to.  He was the second leading scorer on the  team from 2 years ago.  He sat out last because of a football injury.

[/quote] No.  We had  several kids that can get it.  Last year, the bulk of  offense went through the  ex 4 year varsity starter.  Other players had to get it when they could.

Central?  A lot of kids can get it....  Garrison Mitchell?  E'Torrian  Wileridge?  Nijel Pearson?  Take your pick.

Does Nederland, Vidor, Summer Creek, Or Dayton lose in the first Round? if so, to whom?

One would say Johnson, being that he's a senior and all.

What is the farthest that a 3-7 have ever went in the playoffs?

Question from me, a Central fan.  Is basketball season here yet? At least there, I'll have  a chance to see the Mitchells' talents utilized.

[/quote]You'll need an inside threat.  Well maybe I should say, it will help to  have an inside threat against a team that can match with speed.  Prudhomme was your X factor last year.  I think you'll do fine in district as well because of coaching, but I'm interested in seeing how you'll adjust to life without the big fella.

Silsbee will win this district while  WO-S and H-J  will battle for 2nd and 3rd.  I'm just interested in how the Hawks will replace a scoring threat like Prudhomme.

If I'm not mistaken, playoffs are on the line.  Let's see....  We'll lose. 

Moot point because even with Dr. Thomas's salary, which was an issue to some people for some reason, teachers were still getting hired and getting raises.  Now, even when the search for a new staff begins, they still won't earn Neumann or Faircloth type numbers,  even if Dr. Thomas  was still employed.
