They will float on air when district play starts. They truly will have a mega team this season. According to a couple of  reports I've gotten from this weekend (after GASO tourney this weekend) is that Houston & surrounding area teams are really watered down this season with lack of talent. 4-A is prime for a Beaumont team like Central to go a long way. In fact, maybe we should just give Central the district crown now. :-\
Who are you, and what did you do with BlueDove?? BlueDove, if you are reading this, someone hijacked your account.  ;D
I'm just expressing the vibes from several of our Central friends.  ;D
Not this Central fan or any other Central fan that I know...
 2. Correction... It was Central that lost to Kingwood Park.  Also, I don't believe a single Central fan stated anything remotely close to making it to state.  I'll believe it when I see it.  Coaching is still suspect, IMO.  District title?  Heck yes we expect to compete for it or win it.

Robert Mitchell could have been the best quarterback from Beaumont since Chip Ambres but he looks confused as well as the coaches. Unrealized potential. They get out coached. Defensively they are always sound.
He's at the wrong school.  ;) *stirs pot*
I am forced to agree, somewhat.  Talents like Mitchell's wouldn't have been waisted for 2 years and counting at Oxen or West Brook.
 4.

Beaumont schools will not be competitive in football or any other sport unless they combine schools. They need to have enrollment numbers similar to schools in the metroplex and suburban houston in order to compete. Look at North Shore, 4800 enrollment. Three separate schools cannot be competitive in a district like Beaumont ISD where population is moving out
Word! We cant say this at all. This post is Ludacris.  Beaumont schools are just in a bad year. If I recall correct other than this year and maybe one more Beaumont put at least 2 teams every year in the playoffs and competed for district titles. An just off the top of the head in 2010 WB was ranked as high as #5 in the state and was in the top 25 in the Nation while Central was #11 in the state and won 20-4A district title so theirs nothing wrong with them just a down year thats all. And as far as other sports Ozen girls and boys basketball program is the king around the area  an is a threat year in and year out to go state also their girls track program is one of the top in the state along with Centrals boys track program and WB baseball. I also heard that Beaumont was on the rise in population, did I hear wrong?? Im not sure but Beaumont is a hotbed as for talent along with the whole SETX just sometimes your not as competitive some years.
5. Dance.  These Beaumont teams must have peed in his cereal at one point.  I talked to a WO-S fan, today.  He represents a REAL Mustang fan.  You are simply a Clown from a one,man circus.
 6. If there is more to be said about this game, let it  be said.  After that move on.  In other words , y'all won't be dictating when we 'move on'.

Honesty, this is rock bottom.  We lost to a school that had about 16 or 17 suited up players.  Although both defenses played lights out, WO-S did just enough to win on offense.  Which is good for them.  Us?  2 trips in the red zone with NO points to show for it, receivers dropping passes (with the exception of G. Mitchell), offensive linemen that don't know how to block, and finally, 'staff' that couldn't year open a wet paper bag without the help of an Instruction manual.  Those guys didn't have depth at all.  We threw no screen passes.  We lined up in the I formation. ONCE.  We Throw a slant pass for a gain of 10 yards, never to go back to it again.  We run an option. Play that hadn't worked in 3 years and counting.  WO-S got their  first  first down with 3 mins left in the first half.  You should win games when your  defense is fired up line that.  But once again, our staff finds a way to bungle that up.  There's NO reason at all to be shut out at home by a team that has 75% of it's team going both ways.  He stings will do great in that district, but they better shore that offense up and get creative, or it'll be an early playoff exit again.  Central, Catch the passes for crying out loud and it'll be a lot easier.  You may even be able to run the ball decently for a change.  At the rate we're going, we'll get the last  spot at best.    And that's only because our district is so top heavy.
hang in there Soulja..dropped passes and penalties really hurt you last night. Your right about our offense. We have (and we can) pass the ball better. We have to take shots downfield and over the middle or others will just put their guys out in the flat like ya'll did. Your a good team. If I was a coach i'd be concerned about the fact that players are hanging heads with a whole quarter to play. Good luck, yes ya'll have a good enough team to make a playoff appearence. Really liked the speed of your D.
Thanks.  I agree with you totally.
 8.

Central does well when the QB can't throw.  Mitchell hasn't improved over the 3 years and neither has the play calling.  Defense was outstanding considering the short fields they had to defend.  Put Mitchell in the secondary and switch back to the wishbone is the only way Central can win consistantly
Hmm not to say your wrong, but look at the talent Mitchell had his Fresh and Soph year. He had at the very least, 3 good recivers and 2 good backs to get the ball to and take the pressure off him. He was surronded by playmakers. Last season and seems the same this season, he doesnt really have alot of players around him which is rare for a central team. Ive seen the kid play ball and throw. He has all the mechanics to be a great one. Just no one to get the ball to.
SFA85, you are so correct.  I said a couple of years ago when they were trying to play sissy ball (spread) that they should just play Vidor's style of offense.  Yes I said that seriously.  We line up with 2 and 4 receivers but every body knows that our passing isn't a serious threat.  If we do have a QB that can accurately get the receivers the ball, they can't catch it. I've watched this kid since he first stepped in his freshman year in a playoff game in Baytown.  I was like man he is going to be special.  Well he hasn't failed us, the coaching staff at Central has failed him and us.  They have not progressed with his development at all.  I bet if he had been a Bruin or Panther, he would probably have some decent scholarship offers.  Stump worked wonders with what he had and Nelson seems to be doing fine too.  Not us.  We have another special QB in the pipeline, I guess we'll just waste him away too... Central has more athletes then the other 2 schools in Beaumont hands down in my opinion.  But due to coaching, they don't utilize and progress with them in the correct manner.  If Central fails to make the playoffs for 2 years in a row, it SHOULD be time for a change at the top with NO holdovers.  And stop hiring these guys from here, they are too budy budy with the players.  Instead of being like Suggs and Stowers, there to coach football, not make friends.  That's the real reason we had playoff runs back then...
Preach, Jaguar!

 15. Very good analysis.  I completely agree with how this will go down.
Central will match up with us better than either of our first two opponents. We have not seen a team yet this year, in our games or scrimmages that compare to the speed of the game that Central is going to bring. On the other hand, Central HAS played teams that can bring to the table what we will. Although I think both of those teams are in rebuilding years right now. Had they faced last years PAM or WB and played them that close I would be a whole lot more worried. But, as it stands, you can throw out the records. This game will be close and anyone who thinks other wise is not using very good judgement. I will not be surprised by whichever team wins, and I don't see a blow out either way unless there are turnovers early and one team or the other just gets way down quick and it gets out of hand. I don't see either team shutting the other out either.
22. I think we have some good pieces to work with.  I think after week 1, I'm sure we'll battle for a playoff spot.  When you play a team and leave 6 td's and lose by a score,i  think you can correct those mistakes. I think we've found a. Emerging playmaker in Garrison Mitchell . I  also think that the Memorial fan that says our defense sucks and then backdoors and say that Ozen has a better defense must be smoking.  We lost to yall by 3 and yall beat Ozen by a lot more.
