And i'm pretty sure it will have twice the fans as any of those other games. Just sayin!!!!
No offense, but Mid-County Madness will probably have 3,000+ more fans than the "Soul Bowl." Even if your game sells out, the Butch Bowl only holds ~10,000 fans. MCM will definitely sell out and Indian Stadium seats 13,000. Not to mention that PN-G and Nederland probably have the two largest fanbases in the area (PN-G's is one of the largest in the state). Ozen and Central will play a great game, no doubt. But to say that it will out-sell MCM is reaching.
2 things here.  1. The butch holds more rans than it's capacity.  There is a lot of standing room.  2. The list is 'top games', not highest attendence.  Personally, I would prefer the game that shows better football vs. people in attendence.  More people in the stands don't necessarily make it the better game to attend.  PS.  The Central/Ozen halftime is unlike any other.  ;) 8)
Ozen is in a situation with a lot of young players. And I mean babies! Maybe 3 seniors and they will be busy changing diapers this year and trying to keep the crying to a minimum. Lets see, Ozen should have  6'6", 6'6", 6'4", 6'5" 6'3" and another 6'4". Thats about 6 bodies to wear down most of the posts in 20-4a, and several fouls to give as the Panthers wear down the opposing post with sore arms. As far as a starting line up, its up for grabs because this team will be so young with very limited varsity experience.
Well, they'll be long.  That's for sure.  I don't know about lanky long or stocky long, but long, nontheless.

Where will they play? Whose spot will they take? Central is already loaded with young and upcoming talent from their freshman team and returning freshman.
Yes.  I doubt we'll bench the 3 freshmen that started last year and G. Mitchell.  The only spot left to fill is the one left from K. Smith.  I've seen video that Pearson kid and he sure can go.  It would be interesting if we go to another starting freshman this year or will we mold them and let some upperclassmen step in.  Seems to be a 'good problem' at Central.  8)

ALL THREE BEAUMONT SCHOOLS RECEIVE HUGE CASH INFUSION, RUMORS SAY IT CAME FROM PART OF BUTCH'S UNSPENT SALARY BUDGET.
Pretty good headlines.  Exept the last line.  Not sure what it has to do with HS football, but...
 22. It appears that Wiesbrod is about 6'4" and he's very strong and crafty to get the ball in the hoop.  IMO, he will need to work on the outside game to be ready on the next level.  I've seen him push the rock on a fast break, so I would say that his ball handling skills are ok.  You Mention kids playing post now and they won't be playing it in college?  I think it's about what helps the team.  If you are the tallest players on your team, you should be in the paint banging...  Unless you are a freak of nature or you're able to play the guard positions better than those little 5'6" players.  Then, by all means, do what you do.
