Most of those teams are in and go a couple of rounds deep regularly.
You shouldn't rank teams out of how many rounds deep they have went recently or over time. You should rank teams over how good the team is. Hell Central has great consistency of making the playoffs and we see how that did them last year.  ::)
Don't remind me, please.  :-X

 3.
High School football (or any other high school sport or activity) is not like a professional sport in that they can hire the players according to their strengths and make them fit their particular plan of attack.  In high school sports, one must work with the players who show up wanting to be a part of the team.  Types of offense, defense and every other part of the game are based on those players.  A coach can't decide to run X type of offense, just for grins and giggles.  He has zero chance of success that way.  Just because Lumberton has been struggling doesn't mean Credeur is a poor coach making poor decisions. Lumberton has mostly struggled, history being what it is.  I think a huge part of the answer is the lack of tradition building in Lumberton.  At PNG, indoctrination into the tribe begins early.  Kindergartners don't change their color when they've talked in class.  They move their feather!  We have no traditions in Lumberton.  Honestly, having kids in high school now, I can tell you that part of the problem is that the school has become too rigid in what is allowed and what isn't.  School in Lumberton has no fun, no joy.  There's no pride because it's not allowed to be celebrated.  The student body doesn't have the heart, because it was never given to them and is not encouraged in any way, shape or form.  I couldn't wait to get my kids out of BISD when they were little and into Lumberton, but I have been highly disappointed.  Apathy in our schools runs rampant, both in the student body and in the faculty.  It's sad.
Maybe that's the problem.  They would have been winning at West Brook.
 4. Y'all keep on poking that hornet's nest with that stick, you're bound to get stung.  ;D
Rumor has it Zeno is headed to Legacy. Any truth to that? WB won't finish higher than 5th in district as long as current coach remains in place.
I havn't heard anything. Who will finish over West Brook?  I automatically see Memorial and North Shore, but who else?

I'm looking for the Dove Bros. from Ozen to do some special things, but Ozen will miss Trey Green's versitility.  I'm looking for Central's young talent to mature greatly from those 3 starting freshmen last year.  Wilridge, the 6'5" post will be a force. Central will miss K. Smith's scoring, but we'll find a way.  I see Ozen and Central fighting for the district title.
Are those the only two team's you see fighting for the district title? I think a team just South of Beaumont (who has won/shared the previous 3 District Titles) may have something to say about that!  8) Returning 4 Starters, including two first-teamers and one 2nd-team All-District selections, Nederland will definitely be in the hunt!  ;)
But they lose the big 6'6" rebounder.  I admit, they do return Wiesbrod, Young English, and the defensive stoper (forgot his name).I guess it that I'm not sure nederland will have good size.

Smh.  Vidor has 1 good season and now fans can say 'we havnt lost a game there yet.  Shoot, count how many games they've lost at Durly, Babe Zaharius, and Lamar stadium (Ozen's old stadium).
My point is I have seen two games there and the team I was supporting won both and that kinda makes a person's memory of a location more positive. I have numerous reasons to enjoy DA BUTCH, one of which is I only pay $7 if I chose to. Pretty good deal, lots of district teams have crappy facilities and or parking, I wish all the Pirates away games were there. As far as one good season goes, I guess your the type that can only enjoy the Win, and can only appreciate the boys effort when they come out victorious. I think every season and game are a great one. Even the last time Vidor and Central played at Babe, six quarters of great ball Your too sensitive and read too much into posts ::)
If I read too much into it, I appologize.  I do agree about that 6 quarters of football.  I call that game to this day the 'thunder (2009 Vidor) and lightening (2009 Central)'. 11. Hahaha.  I like the 'Beat Central' banner in the Titan Field House with the digital countdown clock.  ;D ;D .  Those guys have no idea what their in for.
