I havn't heard anything. Who will finish over West Brook? I automatically see Memorial and North Shore, but who else?

I predict a 3rd place finish for this. I'm looking for the Dove Bros. from Ozen to do some special things, but Ozen will miss Trey Green's versitility. I'm looking for Central's young talent to mature greatly from those 3 starting freshmen last year. Wilridge, the 6'5" post will be a force. Central will miss K. Smith's scoring, but we'll find a way. I see Ozen and Central fighting for the district title.
Are those the only two team's you see fighting for the district title? I think a team just South of Beaumont (who has won/shared the previous 3 District Titles) may have something to say about that! 8) Returning 4 Starters, including two first-teamers and one 2nd-team All-District selections, Nederland will definitely be in the hunt! ;)
But they lose the big 6'6" rebounder. I admit, they do return Wiesbrod, Young English, and the defensive stoper (forgot his name).I guess it that I'm not sure nederland will have good size.

I would put central over ozen because of the experience at QB.
Bottom four are: Livingston little Cypress-M Beaumont Central Lumberton
::) ::) ::) -

Our district championship year, 2010, you took a loss on the chin to us. Had it been at the Butch, you'd have been taken to the woodshed. You played a weak Central team in 2011. Second of all, you're tax dollars will NOT be missed. Maybe Vidor can better utilize them. Seems like they need it more . Because a know a lot of Vidorians that dont like how VISD is ran. Smh. Vidor has 1 good season and now fans can say 'we havnt lost a game there yet. Shoot, count how many games they've lost at Durly, Babe Zaharius, and Lamar stadium (Ozen's old stadium).
My point is I have seen two games there and the team I was supporting won both and that kinda makes a person's memory of a location more positive. I have numerous reasons to enjoy DA BUTCH, one of which is I only pay $7 if I chose to. Pretty good deal, lots of district teams have crappy facilities and or parking, I wish all the Pirates away games were there. As far as one good season goes, I guess your the type that can only enjoy the Win, and can only appreciate the boys effort when they come out victorious. I think every season and game are a great one. Even the last time Vidor and Central played at Babe, six quarters of great ball Your too sensitive and read too much into posts ::)
If I read too much into it, I appologize. I do agree about that 6 quarters of football. I call that game to this day the 'thunder (2009 Vidor) and lightening (2009 Central)'.
And the last time PN-G and Central played at the Babe was an even better game. ;) ;D
I feel my stomach turning. My food from last night almost came up. ;D
The last game Dayton played in the Babe was a good one as well, come to think of it the last 2 games we played at the Butch were thrillers too. For Dayton of course. ;) ;D
The blocked extra point. No comment. :-X
I love how most ppl are counting Ozen out or barely in. These Panthers are HUNGRY!!! The taste of last yrs playoffs is still fresh & we're hungry for more!! The qb position is gonna be just fine. In many ways, even better. Jordan Ozen (SR QB) is the REAL!! The defense is gonna be quick, smart, & aggressive & BIGGER on the d-line. And yes, those wonderful wideouts will be back to torment secondaries again with some familiar & new talent. Heck, even the special teams got a boost with some new, foreign talent. The o-line is mostly new but not green. They'll be big & strong again too. Look for great season from this yrs squad. PS- Did I mention "Mr Excitement" #1 Jacobi Jones??? :o 1 Ozen/Ned 2 Ned/Ozen 3 png 4 Vid/Cen/Liv
I'll go on the record and say that J. Ozen isn't near as good as Green was. They'll struggle with the QB position. They'll be in Playoff contention, though. They will have one of the top running teams in the district, imo.
