From what I was told even by Port Neches guys, Rodney Caveness, the leader of PN-G ISD has very little logic.  I'm just the messenger.  8)
I honestly thought that you were crushed by Yeoj (a West Brook/BISD guy) the last time you, a Vidor person, attempted to make a funny.

 4. Ok, here is the second comment about BISD having 'no logic'.  Care to try for 3?  ::) ::) These coaches will be evaluated and a decision will be made just like in ANY other school district.  ::) ::)
 5.

Not taking anything away from Nederland, but LC-M went through the motions.  They had nothing at all to play for and according to the Beaumont Enterprise article, the LC-M coach seldom even got up off the bench and played the scrubs most of the game.
You just took EVERYTHING away from them (in your opinion). 'BUT' may only be a three letter word, BUT it is one of the most powerful words when used like this. The TRUTH remains that Ned won 28 games this year and went 12-2 in district. And that's something you CAN'T take away from these kids. The FACT is that the big kid from LCM got 2 fouls early, so he HAD to sit a while. The coach (and the paper) can claim they played their 'reserves', BUT they failed to mention this FACT. Great win and great defense Dawgs! Keep it up!
I wasn't at t his game.  I'm just the messenger, man.  Don't kill the messenger.  :D
 6. What they failed to mention is that Central's high scorers in this game, Morris and Wilridge, are Freshmen.  8) 8)  Way to go,  young guns!
 7.
Soulja-  I am responding only because you requested it.  Free throw shooting has been a concern of mine not only this year but for a number of years and the Hawks certainly have lots of room to improve upon it.  At the same time, the 36-1 implies that they have found other ways to get things done( even though we all know how weak their schedule is) and I am hopeful that they can continue to do so.  Needless to say, if the dunk-o-meter and SMRJ meter are pretty busy during the games, then the free throw-o-ometer will be relegated to a lower status.
Understood!
 8.
49% from the line???? looks like they need to work more on the FREE throw vs the Dunk O Meter or SMRJ..
I'm patiently waiting to see what Stevenash has to add to this comment.  ;D
 9.
Notice the floater and jumper were working.  HJ must have hit as a team 8-10 SMRJ!!!
Sweet!
::) ::)....scrubs? LCM has scrubs? you have to have PLAYERS in order to have scrubs... ::)..and don't refer to bench players as scrubs...its demeaning...they are the RESERVES... 8)
I'm sorry, I mean the 'bomb squad'.  ;) BTW, the article that I'm in reference to is posted by myself up top.
So, would the floater in the lane count as a SMRJ?
Nah...see the floater is the floater, but the SWEET MRJ is just outside the paint, just inside the three point arc...The "sweet" areas on the floor! Thus the name...Sweet Mid Range Jumper! ;D ;D
Ok.  Understood.  Floaters, and tear drops are a different dimention of the game that's also 'sweet' to look at.  Do we need an 'ometer' for that as well?
 13. Great Job, Hawks and Tigers!  Not only co-district champs, but #1 and #2 respectively in the 'dirty dozen' SETX Sports rankings!  Way to go!!
 14. On a side note, I love the way that Coach English gave respect to all of the 20-4a playoff representers stating that all of the teams can play good defense and he sees all of them getting wins in the first round of the playoffs.
 15. So, what is the final results of the 'Dunkathon' out of Central and H-J?

There was only 4 that counted....he had six total...
Not you TOO, PoppaBear!!! The "dunkometer" must go!! >:( 8)
The dunkometer must stay.  ;D
 18. Wouldn't it be funny if this guy that is stating what LU is wanting to do is REALLY upset up what Ozen did and is placing Central in the same catagory as Ozen and don't want 'them' to play there, but don't have a problem with anyone else playing on their campus.
 19.

I would think the Montagne because Ozen to some would be considered homecourt advantage for Central.
Why would it be considered homecourt? they BOTH played there this season...It would be the best available venue other than Lamar....Lamar State PA could host it too. At this point, you want to just secure a good, neutral venue as soon as possible.
Notice I said 'to some'.  ;)
faulty dunk reporting...
 21.
And many, many SMRJ!!!! 8) 8)
So, was the SMRJ's done by the same guy that put numbers up on the dunkometer?
