Man, Livingston only mustered 30 points against Lumberton.  I'm not being a comedian, but have you seen Lumberton?

Remember, guys, Nederland didn't just shoot 22% from the field.  They were FORCED into that percentage.  Nederland was bothered by Centrals fans close outs and length. Nederland also for some reason, wasn't as trigger happy as they normally are.  They were chased off of their spots all night.  All this being said and Central didn't use a full or half court press the entire game.  Credit should be given to Central for the great game plan.  Now free throw?  Central was horrible. THAT falls on the team (Central).

[/quote]I guess it did.  And it took 2 years to put a team on the court that beat them twice in one year with a team that starts 3 freshmen.  I'd say it have been long overdue and worth the wait.

[/quote]True.  So very true.  And also, Ozen don't have a player like Smith, so it may be a little difficult for them to successfully pull off the identical game plan as Central did.

The 3 way tie senerio?  If that were to happen, I'm sure they'll flip to see who gets the 3 seeds.  But it would be nice to some action on the court to settle it.  Wishful thinking.  ;)

We have players that can fill in.  Would we have been better?  I dot know.  Our staff may not have utilized him correctly.  Remember, H-J's staff is a lot 'different' than our staff.  That kid have chosen to attend the school in sour lake, and I'm glad he's having a great yeat.  But I an assure you.  No one from Central is losing any sleep on his decision not to play for Central.

[/quote]Actually, it's a little more with the football team.  Basketball?  We expect to be good in basketball.  It's the only thing that we know that we'll consistently make the playoffs in.  The way we think, it's pretty much a given.  It always have been since I was a kid.  Now football is the reason I'm on these forums.  The disrespect aspect from the local media constantly picking against Central is what drives me to be the fan I am.  We have the talent every year, but other teams are always picked  above us.  So I'd have to say Football is an A+ and Basketball is just an A.  Not that much differece, just a little.
