Soulja- I am responding only because you requested it. Free throw shooting has been a concern of mine not only this year but for a number of years and the Hawks certainly have lots of room to improve upon it. At the same time, the 36-1 implies that they have found other ways to get things done( even though we all know how weak their schedule is) and I am hopeful that they can continue to do so. Needless to say, if the dunk-o-meter and SMRJ meter are pretty busy during the games, then the free throw-o-ometer will be relegated to a lower status.
Understood!

They had nothing at all to play for and according to the Beaumont Enterprise article, the LC-M coach seldom even got up off the bench and played the scrubs most of the game.
::) ::)....scrubs? LCM has scrubs? you have to have PLAYERS in order to have scrubs... ::)..and don't refer to bench players as scrubs...its demeaning...they are the RESERVES... 8)
I'm sorry, I mean the 'bomb squad'. ;) BTW, the article that I'm in reference to is posted by myself up top.

Also Carr and Martel had some nice 12-15 foot jumpers tonight as well!!!
So, would the floater in the lane count as a SMRJ?
Nah...see the floater is the floater, but the SWEET MRJ is just outside the paint, just inside the three point arc...The "sweet" areas on the floor! Thus the name...Sweet Mid Range Jumper! ;D ;D
Ok. Understood. Floaters, and tear drops are a different dimention of the game that's also 'sweet' to look at. Do we need an 'ometer' for that as well?

Great Job, Hawks and Tigers! Not only co-district champs, but #1 and #2 respectively in the 'dirty dozen' SETX Sports rankings! Way to go!! -
Why would it be considered homecourt? they BOTH played there this season...It would be the best available venue other than Lamar....Lamar State PA could host it too. At this point, you want to just secure a good, neutral venue as soon as possible.
Notice I said 'to some'. ;)

Take 2: Should teams flip or play?
So, if neither coach can agree.........what happens? Also, If they play.....where will the game be?
If Neither coach can agree, they play. -
I also agree that she (M. Washington) is a very good shooter and finisher. I just wish there were other girls on the team that were on the same level as her. Last year's Central team had this, but they graduated. Hopefully, Washington can continue putting up these numbers and stay injury free so that Central can keep winning... that is untill they possibly play Ozen...
