I can’t speak for anyone else, but here’s my thoughts… there were better applicants imo. They went with this guy. I don’t know much about him except…. His record was horrible at his last HC job at Westbury. I know he’s a Beaumont guy. And I know he didn’t have much talent at Westbury, but apparently, the AD thinks that he can utilize Beaumont’s talents. This is like deja vu. I’ve typed this same paragraph before…. Right after Graham got hired. Pretty much mirrors that same situation. I just hope the circumstances are different. Maybe this guy can go get who he wants and not use the tired recycled coaches. overall, I’m completely on the fence and will take the wait and see approach…

I’m talking about initially when Chief Hoskin informed PNG that he had a problem with it. I believe it was like 2 years ago…

I understand that, but many PNG folk held it in high regards coming from that first Chief (his blessing). But now that disapproval from this current Chief is a problem and goes ignored…

Yes they have, but from what I hear, it was without the fight song. TVC is right. There was a spectator that was offended and reported it.

Now, there’s protests going on and kfdm has the audition video from PNG that was originally sent to Disney. Band only. No dancers in headdresses or Indian spirit in the footage…

I guess it’s just that PNG got unlucky enough to do a performance at Disneyland while an offended spectator was present. Santa Fe or Cleveland as for as I know wasn’t invited to such a big deal like this…

I’m the only one with this stance here. Because we all know all we have to do is look on the politics forum and see what the majority is. So judging the majority and minority here is a bad justification.

Y’all (detractors) come up with anything to justify this. I understand your logic, but in my opinion, it’s a weak one.

And on a side note, I’m glad that the Washington post and Forbes have both picked this story up. Then along with Disney and TMZ seems to be calling this racist. Getting major traction now. Like I said before, interested to see how that halftime performance looks in the fall…

Before I answer that question… Do you feel offended when they run Reveille X out at football games for your beloved A&M, or would you not care either way? Just adding extra even though this has nothing to do with our topic, how do you feel about the A&M folks removing her vocal cords so that she can’t bark? Now I personally am offended with that…. 🤷🏾‍♂️
