We've done pretty good playing good halfcourt defense.  We will be able to close out on Nederland's shooters pretty well.  But when you get hot from three point land, there is not much you can do but hope they go cold.  I do like our chances.  We're pretty athletic and have pretty good size.  Also, we have K. Smith, which will be a matchup problem for Nederland.

Yes.  That's our starting linup.  Wilridge (6'6") and Guillery (sp) are starting freshmen and Garrison Mitchell is a starting sophomore.  He's the one that dropped 37 points on Wheatly in the Gamble Classic.

Yes, we played them twice within 3 days.

We've split a two game series vs. Pa Memorial...  Both games went into ot.

The key here is common oponents.  You guys beat Hightower whereas we lost to them twice, one of those losses were double digits.  Maybe not a cause for concern i guess since it happened earlier in the season.

Explain.

Track was like a gun being aimed at night.  It was bound to happen at least once.  Basketball?  Graduation hurt you guys.  Football?  Im not at liability to talk about that right now...  ;D. Baseball and socker tennis or whatever else?  Who cares!  ;D

We've already beaten Nederland in the Dog Dome this year.  Lets show them it wasnt a fluke, Jags.

Im here, guys.  I ran out of phone juice at the game.  The game was never in doubt.  Central was the better team and it showed.  We did a great job of denying their bigs.  LC-M'S guard play is the worst ive seen any team this year.  We caused many turnovers with the pressure.  The score could havw been worst but we called the pressure off. Now tuesday will present a different problem.  Nederland' bigs are good and they have guards that are not scared to let the bombs fly.  They'll try to stretch our defense and slow the game down.  Im interested to see how it goes.

[/quote]Y'all fail to hear what I'm saying.  Wouldn't a better atmosphere be if you can get more of  your fans in the stadium?  LU provides that.  LU also provides better parking.  Would that not be a better atmosphere?

The stadiums are close so the fanatics will not have to travel far. The only difference I can see is one have grass and one have turf. 

Not sure about us either.  I do know that we were extremely young and should have some decent players on the field next year.

[/quote]Yes, there is a chance.  Our coaches generally don't make in game adjustments.  If the other team makes a run, it is usually in between quarters.  We don't call timeouts to make adjustments.  We normally come out after halftime or at the end of quarters with changes and adjustments.  I just hope that we are not down by double digits before we adjust to LC-M.

PEOPLE and the TEAMS make the atmosphere, not the venue.  I think it would be a good idea if it was held at LU.  The same Indian and Bulldog fans would be in attendence.  I'm not buying that atmosphere stuff on this one.  More parking and bigger venue means more fans to pack the stands.
